The best thing you can do is to contact your local and/or Federal Wage and Labor Board. Through them, Donna Burns will have to pay what you are owed in addition to back wages, taxes and penalties. She has lost all of the Labor disputes against her to date and will lose all future disputes. Asking her for your pay is futile at best. She owes many of her employees thousands of dollars each and they unwisely continue working there without pay for weeks and even months. She makes empty promises and threats to keep them working while she gets fat off their hard work. You are so very wrong. I am a guy that has been threatened and harassed by Donna Burns and her associates. She and her associates have also harassed and made threats to my wife and family. It's quite obvious that you are one of her employees because of the manner in which you have responded to selected posts. Not much different than the harassment given to myself and others through email, social media and telephone calls. It's nothing but accusations, threats and deflection from her vile and vulgar business practices. You are complicit in these acts and I for one, am not standing for it. I will admit I've only ever witness insanely unprofessional behavior from bet once and that was the beginning of my employment when another work wrote a goodbye letter to the whole company. Whether or not the worker was right in doing that Donna and her leading Ladies attacked the Ex employee and exposed so much about her. I should have stuck to my gut and quit right there but I didn't and now I'm having to decide whether to persue this or be taken advantage of by someone who shows no respect for her employees and has no right calling herself a business woman. I have tried to be pleasant but I just me to put it out there that working for this company was a horrible decision on my part and I honestly think it gives this corner of the sex industry a bad rep... That's the pattern of behavior she's been exuding for apparently 10 years or more, according to her former and current employees. The tide has turned though. People are starting to stand up to her now and that's a very good thing. She has bullied everyone for years and now is the time to strike back at her. She's on the ropes and reeling, hit her with the wage and labor board or even a suit in claims court. You don't need a goodbye letter or anything like that. Just go file against her because that is your right. If you announce that you will quit or your intentions to sue, she and her wolf pack will, for the lack of a better phrase, pound the life out of you. If you have facebook, make everything private and block them. Block their emails, phones, everything. Don't give them a crack to slither into your personal life. Trust me.

Lol you make her sound like Darth Vader. But he wasn't very rational or Sane either so...anyway I am just going to do what I have to to get paid. If she does something to attempt to hurt me I am prepared kinda like a " I wish a [***] would" attitude. The way I see it if she tried to hurt my personal life I'll just make more money off of her lol. No one important in my life is going  to care if some old lady comes to them and tells them what I do for work :)

I worked for DMB Times for over a year. I was a top earner and lied to from the beginning. This has been going on for years because the shift leaders who work for Donna will lie to you and tell you anything to keep you there. She sends you a portion of your pay with promises to send the rest later today or tomorrow. There is no compassion when you can't pay your rent or bills. I left recently and I am owed $6000.  She sent me a 1099 form for 2015 stating she had paid me the money she has owed me. So I am expected to pay income taxes on money they have never paid me.

The bottom line is although there have been glimpses of some humanity Donna Burns is a liar and a con. Her manger Tamme Williams is also a self centered liar with absolutely no people skills.

Finally a group of us are going to take her to court. I want to warn everyone!!! Stay away. This too will happen to you.

well i wish i would have seen this before. I worked there for a bout 2 weeks. asked several times about payroll no reply. then another lady posted her issues so i told the dispatcher i would not log in any more until i saw a pay check. when i was hired i was told they hold 1 week then told 2 weeks now they said i abandoned my shifts so it will be 6 weeks  in my  contract this is not listed anywhere  i asked for them to show me where this is .... no reply i am beyond pissed

Contact your local Department of Labor - you are legally entitled to be paid for hours you have worked.

No one is ever paid there without at least a 4 week hold. She just sent out an email last week saying, "this is my company and my money and I'll pay who I want when I want."  She won't pay anyone, because it would hinder her "habit"

A bunch of us have gotten together and this woman owes over $100,000 in back wages that she refuses to pay. I did not listen to the warning signs and I thought no one on earth could be as bad as the things I had read on the internet (after I started there)

It turns out she is much worse, she continues to threaten me and others. She is unstable and a bully. She belongs in prison.

Trust me we will never see the money we are owed. It is pathetic. Perhaps she can barter her jag for the funds I am owed. I would be down for that

I did a few calls with them and they took my cc info and charged me an extra $300. This was over a month ago. they have yet to refund me. I had no other choice and charged back and reported them. Beware!!

Donna has always taken her money off the top and then left all her girls holding out their hands begging to be paid. It was going on long before Tamme and at a grand a day it added up.

I too am owed back pay. I am now talking to a lawyer and they are working to get this matter resolved. She promised to get my pay and she has not paid me as of yet. Donna thinks she can screw me over, but in  the end, she is the one that's going to get screwed with  no vasaline.  You screw with me I will screw back. I will do what I legally can to get my money.
