- Daniel replies to GABRIELGot a call this morning saying officer want to know if home to sign something? Who are these people thank you
- Rox replies to GABRIEL| 2 repliesIt’s a scam. They call me about an account back from 2008 from Wells Fargo went to well Fargo to get to the bottom of it cause the said that they had tried to serve me at my house which is not true. I called them when I was at well Fargo and they refuse to give me their address so wells Fargo could look into it cause they were just as confused as I was . and they didn’t want to do that and the lady on the phone called me delusional and crazy and since I told her that I did have a job she said not to worry about if I didn’t have a job. I told her that she said she worked for Wells Fargos attorneys and that well Fargo wanted to get to the bottom of it and she tells me I never told you that. I guess what I’m trying to say if this was real they would be more professional. Definitely a SCAM!
- Monica| 1 replyThey called me this morning and my brother as well. Saying it was regarding a Wells Fargo bank account from 2008 and that is was closed 2012. They said I owe fees, penalties and would be going to court. I asked how to get information from them as I do not know about this debt. They hung up on me. I called back and they hung up and then I called again and she said I hung up. I have called back 8 times and it is now saying this number has been changed. I asked the company name and they said Prime Capital. I called Prime Capital from google. The number isn't working. I feel this is a scam. I don't have any letters or items on my credit pertaining to Wells Fargo and haven't had a bank account with Wells Fargo for years.

- Jessica| 1 replyReceived a call from them March 7th stating they tried to serve me twice and I needed to call a 951 area code number to arrange to be home to receive papers in regards to a civil matter in my county (which was my county). When I called the 951 number, "Natalie" told me that I owed $4k plus from US Bank. I told her I hadn't had an account with US Bank since 2003, and she said that they sent me letters within the last 45 days to advise me of the pending judgement. She said I had a short window because I hadn't yet been served, but didn't pressure me into paying. She had my full (accurate SSN), knew my last 2 street addresses as well. I told her I was going to call US Bank to verify, she said ok. I called US Bank, spoke to them and they advised I had an account for 6 months in 2003 and it was sold for overdraft in 2009 to United Credit Recovery. Go ahead, google them and you'll see why this has got to be a scam. UCR bought accounts and forged signatures on documents to attempt to (and successfully collect in some cases) on debt that was out of statute of limitations or couldn't be traced. Today my mother and my ex both got calls and voicemails from the same woman, she gave a different name on both voicemails but same return number. When I called back the guy answered, "legal department, can I help you?" And I asked who I'd reached he said, "Prime Capital" but google returns no results on a debt collection agency with that name. It seems to me that some group of fraudsters has gotten ahold of a list of those debts and is trying to collect on them somehow. There is no way that I could be taken to court for a debt sold in 2009 which I was never aware of, never saw letters, never was served (and work from home so would know if someone tried) and is originally from 2003. These people are really good but I'm convinced this has to be a scam.

- Patricia HutchinsonMy son in Maryland called and gave me a phone number (888-395-1267) with a reference number. He said they told him that I had 48 hrs to contact them before I was served court papers for Collier County. (I live in Florida and this is the correct county.) I tried calling them and the one that answered the phone seemed puzzled and said they don't make any outgoing calls from that number. When I explained that I was given a reference number, she transfered me to someone else, who insisted I verify my identification before he would proceed. I asked who they were and he said Prime Capital. Long story short, I wouldn't give him my personal information, and he wouldn't tell me what this was pertaining to. He said good luck in court, and was very rude. I will wait and see if I get court papers.
