Said they tried to deliver some kind of paper.. Acting like they were a law firm... Had lawyer call them twice and they hung up on him.

do not listen to them. They are breaking so many laws. They refuse to properly ID the company it is a scam

Warned that if i didnt take pebdung actions that there would be a lawsuit against me...called back to find out what the situation was pertaining to and got no answers. I was put on hold and hung up shortly after.

has left two voicemails from an 856 number (my area code), but left this 888 number in the message for call back. Talks about an urgent, time-sensitive legal matter, but does not say the company that they're calling from or the company which has the file number listed also in the message. The message is for someone I don't know, so it seems like a wrong number, however that may be part of the scam if it is one. Possibly hoping that I call the number as a good citizen trying to help the stranger in the message. Easier to make up a name, I suppose, then to match my name with my phone number. I wish I knew who to call just in case it is legitimate issue though

Sounds like intentional static to cover name of who is calling. Message was about legal action which "may" happen. Probably bought a very old debt for pennies on the dollar, which is way way way beyond legal court collection, and at least decades old. Never answer or return these calls.

It probably isn't a legitimate anything... Don't pick up the phone for numbers you don't recognize ... This screams SCAM !

It's a scam trying to get people to pay debts they don't owe. The voice mail was a call from PCS about a delivery they tried to make. (A lie)  I called the number and the guy said he is with Bayside Solutions, a division of Bayside & Brooks.  He said PCS is their courier service. I laughed and told him I had already checked the number and knew it was a scam and hung up.
