    Another telemarketing robocall this time from AT&T?  Didn't answer, voice mail left -

    "Hi there, I am calling you from AT&T Direct TV to let you know that your existing account is qualified for 50% off.  In order To avail of this discount, kindly call us back at 888-214-5835 from 8 am til 9 PM Pacific Standard time.  Thank you and have a great day."

    I called 888-214-5835.  They offered me a $50.00 monthly fee for my current DirecTV  service.  The catch was, that they wanted the first 6 months or $300 up front.  This is when I became suspicious and asked for this information in writing.  This is a very clever scam!!!
