888-215-0632

This morning, 2/5/13 I received a call from 888 215 0632 at 10:58 AM.  The caller told me he was calling from an airport in Texas because a package being sent to me was confiscated by border security. I told him " I know you are a scammer and quit calling me!!!"  He tried to reason with me telling me it was legitimate. I told him I was going to report this number to the FBI and he told me he was working with the FBI. After going back and forth he told me he was going to forget about my package.  I didn't give him the chance to ask me for money to have my package delivered.  It's hard to believe that since Friday, 2/2/13 to today 2/5/13 I have received 3 scammer phone calls.  I hope these people get caught!

I was scam by a man name Joseph Miller saying that I won 475 million dollars or did I want to give to the nigro college fund he was calling to tell me that check was coming from south america and it was drawn on bank of america I was going to received today by fed Ex between the hours of ten am until two in the afternoon and when I got it to call him back at 888-215-0632 and ask for Joseph Miller he said not to tell anyone the check number is 000372671 drawn on the bank of america

Same scam happened to me today 3/29/2013.  The only difference between my story and the stories above was the guys name.  He called himself Paul Green.  He told me the same thing about the check number, not to tell anyone.  Check number 000372671.  Same phone number.  After reading this I called the number back and left a message on his answering machine not to send anything or anyone to me.  Amazingly he called me back and began telling me that the internet is an unreliable source of information - and get this - he asked me if I believe what I read on the internet.  So I read the posts - and asked why is the check number the same?  And when will he ask me for the $3K custom clearance fee.  Anyway to make a long story short - this is a scam and word is getting around.  Oh and he used the Wounded Warrior Project - what a jerk, putting a company's name and non-profit organization's name to shame.

Beware of calls from 888-215-0632 AND 888-480-5539 indicating that they are representing the Wounded Warrior Project and that you are the "Lucky" winner of some number of dollars!
I got calls representing the claims dept and the US Customs from each of these numbers and they wanted to set up a time to "deliver" my winnings by UPS between 2:00 and 5:00 the next day
I have contacted the Security department at the Wounded Warrior Project to warn them about the use of their name to promote this SCAM
