Received call from 888-215-1941 while at Lunch and called back and said (NOT IN SERVICE)

I received a call from this number at my work phone. They wanted to help me out with my retirement. They asked if I was ready to retire and wanted to help with investments on that. They began to asking for my email because they asked if they could send me an email and I said no. And hung up. I am afraid there are a lot of people out there that want to scam folks and I don't appreciate them calling me ever. They said they do business with other folks in my area but never specified the area and when they gave me their name it was fuzzy and i could not understand it. Also when I spoke it sounds like i was being recorded.
