Robot call telling me I owe big $$$ to the IRS & that I will get arrested if I do not call back in the next hour

AQlso received a phone call from this scam outfit. They claimed to be from the internal revenue service. Said they were giving final notice to me and that I would be arrested if I did not call them back

received robot call with a computer generated voice saying this is my last warning, you are being sued by the IRS.  BTW, if you have a tax issue, the IRS does not call you, they send a certified letter, many of them.

Caller, automated message, states last notice that IRS filing a lawsuit. Call our department at 888-215-2217. Prior call was from 509-560-4509. IRS does not initiate these calls.

Another scam call from "The IRS" telling me it is my last call before they are suing me.
Idiots - both what they are and what they think we are.

Got back from vacation to find message from IRS stating this was the last call before being sued.  We were to call back immediately to 888-215-2217...tried calling back but number was busy......having no issues with IRS decided to go on internet and research that number..that's when we read it was a scam....won't be calling that number back...

Checking my voice mail and saw this number. A computerized female voice stated that it was the IRS that I was getting sued and it was my last notice. First of all never received a first notice.

received called on a Saturday morning with same thing final notice and I will be sued and when I called number back it says it's a no working number. Robot calling saying its IRS. 888-215-2217

I received vm message I have out standing law suit from IRS. No problems or issues with them. Spam call?

Read the other posts in this thread. It should be pretty clear this is a scam (not spam: a scam artist trying to extort money from you.) Do an Internet search for IRS SCAM.

Called and said final warning that I had ignored previous calls and the IRS is filing a lawsuit unless I call them back. Same # 888-215-2217. I almost had a heart attack in my car listening to the message. Clearly I've not done anything wrong. Oh and cannot call the number back either

Same scam call from the "IRS". I used to work with those guys - I guarantee you they don't work tihs way.
