888-215-7594

They texted me from 888-702-2342 with a "Dear Directv AT&T Customer" message stating to knock 50% off my bill by calling 888-225-8109.  When I called, it answers with the AT&T tone and exact message you get from AT&T.  They know your name and your address.  They tell you they're sending a $100 visa gift and ask that you pick up an Ebay credit card at your nearest store and load it with $300 and call another "AT&T billing number" 888-215-7594 and give them the information on the Ebay card and a promotion code (that they give you).  They say that will take care of the next 3 months Directv and then the 4th month will be billed at the 50% rate.  I immediately called the 800-531-5000 AT&T number and asked about the promotion.  It was a scam - and a good one!  BEWARE...
