Have been getting 2-3 calls a day from this number. They are looking for a Scott, Stacey, and Ryan Freedman. When I told them they had the wrong number, they then wanted to know who they were speaking with. The nerve!  I told them not to call me again and to delete my number from their list.

    Don't Answer
I think who ever is on the other end of these calls are scammers, that's why people above who say they have no debt or car payments are getting these calls.  Heck, I don't own a car or even a driver's license at that, yet I get calls from them.  Since they are scammers they could care less about the DNC registry, the registry only works when business are legitimate businesses.  Simple thing to do is don't answer calls from 800, 866, 877 numbers or calls that are Unavailable or Unknown.  Don't call the numbers back either.  Answering the calls and calling the numbers back only verifies to the scammers that the numbers they are calling are working numbers.

People making these calls don't come here to read these complaints either so coming on this site and saying "stop calling" isn't going to help either.

Santander Consumer needs to stop calling me! I make my payments to them but I make it in 2 separate payment increments. So if they don't get the remainder of the payment on the due date, they are calling me to find out where it is. Keep your pants on! Its on its way to you! Geesh, they need to chill out!

They keep calling asking for my mother in law. They even accuse me of being her. They can't seem to get it through their thick skulls that obviously, based on the area code of the landline THEY DIALED, I live 3000 miles away from California...... the address they have for her..... Idiots.

This company is calling our receptionist for the corporation and hanging up every time the reception answers.  Please ask them not to call our office again.  Thanks.

I have no idea why these people are calling me! I have not financed anything and they are harassing me and it needs to stop now. If you are going to call me at least be able to speak so people can understand you.

They keep calling us as well.  One payment shows a certain amount and now I get a statement showing an amount 4 times it that they say is due now.   They need to get their act together in their accounting department and stop calling.  Interesting thing is..The original company I had the car loan with, never notified us that the car loan was even sold to another company.  no register mail nothing..just started getting billing statements from this company. Very poor business practice if you ask me. Stop calling.

Daily phone calls from this number and no one is on the line. This is a small business with no outstanding debts. I suspect they are trying to reach the former business owner. Since no one is on the line, I am unsure of how to stop these calls, and they are disruptive to our business.

Calls and hangs up.. I have no car loans of any kind that I could be late on. Truck is FULLY paid for and TA was paid for in cash 15 years ago!  No one on phone when answer and when I try to call back they want account #, customer # or SS# before you can proceed with call - I am not giving them my SS# and do not have the other two because they do NOT EXIST.
Only recourse is to find out what touch tone code to dial after harassing calls that reports them to police and let them handle it.

8882224227 I have already hired an attorney and filed a lawsuit on Santander, they won't stop calling me even after having my first deposition. I am going to mail a letter to Santander telling them that they don't have my permission to contact me about this debt ever by phone or mail. That is what the FDCPA says to do.

I also record all my conversations, and that is why I had harassment evidence to sue them in the first place. My trial date is August 2013

Hi, I'd love to back your suit. I'm filing complaints with the Dallas BBB, TX SOS, IN SOS, and US FTC. Please email me at smalltownbigcityguy@yahoo.com - good luck!

Sorry that should be the ATTORNEY GENERAL in both TX and IN, not the Secretary of State. Folks, the applicable Attorneys General, the Dallas BBB, and the FTC Bureau of Consumer Protection all have web complaint forms - use them ALL!

They've called daily for several days and ask for different people - none of which I've ever heard of.   Always a delay and a block caller ID .
