- Kayls| 2 replies>/ I've gotten 8 calls on my cell phone, and I don't own a car or really know anyone who does.
Not sure how they got the number due to the fact my phone got activated only a week ago and only 3 people know the number.
They never say anything when I pick up either.- Call type: Valid
- Corrie Cianciola replies to Marsha Gross 817-375-8820They call me ALL day asking for some lady and I always tell them they have the wrong number but they won't QUIT!
- bigtexman| 3 repliesYes it is a auto loan company. Im also a customer of thiers considering that they finance my truck for me. If you are late(30 days or more) you will be getting the phone calls. Stay ontop of your [***] and all will be ok or pay that sum-[***] off.
FYI-----
They will not, ever and will die first before they tell you what your pay off is. i had to literally go the dealership to find out how much i needed to pay off my truck with out all that interest. Like I said the reps there at drive financial will not tell cause they want that money.

- Fed up in ColoradoThis number 888-222-4227 left a voice mail wanting me to give the last four digits of my social security number or the last four digits of my date of birth. They are totally bad news. It is a scam business.
Fed up in Colorado- Call type: Unwanted
- DaleThey left a message on my cell. When I returned their call I got a machine that wanted my social security number. Phishing is illegal!!!!! I finally got someone to anser their phone but the person who answered wouldn't give me their name.
- LMJ| 1 replyI get multiple calls in the same day. That's actually illegal. They're trying to collect a debt, and debt collection laws do not permit harassment. Multiple calls in one day, or even several in the same week, constitutes harassment.
Naturally, the person they're calling for doesn't exist. Not at this number. I've had my number for nearly 3 years. Not sure where they're getting their information, but it's wrong.
I've told them this I don't even know how many times. I'm now seriously considering litigation. I don't actually care if I get anything out of it, I just want them to stop calling me.- Caller: Drive Financial
- Call type: Unwanted
- LMJ replies to LMJLegality varies from state to state. I did read that such harassment is illegal, for Colorado, however, that doesn't address if you're not the debtor. I also can't find the document I read to confirm it. This is why I'm looking into litigation.

- badger replies to Smithy| 7 repliesI have been receiving constant calls from this company. I called the 1-888-222-4227 number back and they represented themselves as a past due bill collector so I gave them my last 4 digits of my ssn (stupid me). I argued what this was about and they hung up on me. They called again the next day (several times) so I called back to have my name taken off their call list. They hung up again. What is going on. What do they want and HOW do I get rid of them. Are they reporting me for somthing I have do idea about?

- NotJesseDangit| 2 repliesI keep getting calls from 1-888-222-4227 for someone who had my telephone number before me. When I tell them they have the wrong number, they don't seem bright enough to get it, and call again after a while. These are not America's finest and brightest, I'm thinking. I looked up their telephone number online and found a lot of complaints about their calls. Great. I called the number back (stay on the line and don't press any buttons and you'll get someone eventually) and had a round with Rhonda, who wasn't interested in hearing that they'd been harassing me, then hung up on me after I blew up on her for her disinterest in helping correct the situation and her not wanting to give me the company name and address so I could file a complaint (can't blame her too much - I lost it bad, but geez, it's not like it's confidential information I'm asking for). I called back again and Rhonda hung up on me again when I asked for the company name and address. She's a real customer service professional, that Rhonda. I called a third time and Jackie gave me the company name and a PO box where I could write. It is P.O. Box 562088, Dallas, TX 75247.
