Yes, they are scammers, as the other messages indicate!  I got called by them claiming to be IRS.  Told them I would call back to check it out with my tax preparer - which is what he wanted me NOT to do!  Also: gave me that same badge # (7232) except with a different name.

He called said that I needed to pay the IRS, he would call the police on me, second time called said that my computer had a virus and he needed to access my PC, big scam don't pick up the phone if they call.

I received the same message from someone with an Indian type of accent, saying he was a "financial attorney" with the IRS.  Insofar as
I am a tax attorney who deals with the IRS everyday, I thought this was just hilarious.  I called the guy back just to have some fun, but he quickly realized I wasn't worth his time.  I kept calling him back, but he just kept hanging up.

a guy call my home and scared my wife that I owe IRS Money, and told me to call within 3 hours. She passed this number to me. I called the number and speak with a guy who told me that his name is Raymond Martin ( By his accent he was speaking like a guy from Bangladesh). he told me that his Batch# is 7232. He told me that there are some discrepancies in your Tax Returns from Last 3 years. and you have a penalty to pay to IRS $ 720. He tries to scare me by saying if you did not pay you can be jailed ( bla bla ) I think This is a fraud. I do not worry because I did not break the law anytime.

They claim they are IRS but is a FAKE SCAM call! Can't the police track their # and arrest them?

There's nothing anyone can do at the present time since the scammers are located in India and beyond the reach of US law.  They are pretty  much bullet-proof.   Call blocker might be your best bet.   Also, don't pick up on numbers you don't recognize.

Ditto the same threatening phone call with 2 warrants for my arrest, and they have my physical address, therefore I have 24 hours to resolve this issue........before being arrested..... really????
