Stated that there was pending litigation.  This was a robo call type.  Unfortunately think it still dates back to well paid off payday loans where they were sold information from those companies and are trying to continue to money out of me.  Blocked and reported.

I received a robo call from 888-226-0570 stating there was pending litigation in my county and they are trying to resolve it. .... stay on the line for an experienced person to assist you..... then THEY hung up!

Have no idea where and who this call is from.  It states I have pending litigation against me and I OWE NO ONE.  I am blocking and now reporting this number.  So sick of these types getting our number and scamming.

Called said I had a pending litigation in my county and they are trying to resolve the matter! Tells you to hold for a rep and then hangs up!!!! FAKE!! All a scam! Doesn't even tell you a company name!

If you had a pending litigation, you would have been notified by a court approved server or certified mail.  This is simply an attempt to scare you into paying extortion money.

Another Junk Caller

received a call from this number but also from a 913-229-9075 same robo call and same message about litigation and case number.  calls every time with a different case number.

Same number called me at 352pm today. No message left but I'm sure it's the same people calling everyone they can. I notice the activity increases as we are entering the Spring/Summer months. They've been hounding me for a few years now. I fell for it the first time until I checked the number on here over 4yrs ago. Luckily they only took about $300 from me over a 6 month period when I finally closed my bank account.  If I don't know number, I don't answer anymore.

Total scam. I ignored the call but then they started calling my work number every day. I pressed "0" so I could tell them to stop calling me, that they are in total violation of Federal and State laws calling me at work, and that I was reporting them to my legal department. They replied, "Oh, okay. We'll call you back later" So I contacted my HR department and then our technology services department to see if the call can be blocked. DO NOT RESPOND TO THESE BAD PEOPLE. THEY ARE A COMPLETE AND TOTAL SCAM. I wish I could vaporize and fly through the phone line and kick their ass!!!

got a robo call and i stayed on and the operator put me on with the case rep. who stated he was calling from anderson and davidson law offices. he told me that this was on docket wt... something or other. it is in reference to a pay day loan that is in the amount of $1222.23 but that i am in the settlement phase and they want me to pay 80% which is $900 and something. what kind of math is that?  if they want me, they will have to serve me like a regular company. don't give these fools the time of day. they are on their way to being blocked...hope this helps.

Do not bother, same recorded dumb message about litigation and pending case. Do not talk to them, scam, scam, scam...Trust me if your county court would want you, you would be served or provided with certified mailed paperwork. I live in a state where payday loans are illegal and you cannot get one online. They actually call from your local state number too..just ignore them.

rcvd a robo call mentioned a name which is not me and said there was a pending litigation. most likely a pay day loan debt based on what others are saying here. scam.

Litigation pending against me, called my employment and cell phone.

The former owner of my # did not know how to handle $$ so this very well could be a legit collector, this person must have had a habit of borrowing $ & not paying anyone back, then changing their #, I have been getting calls like this for over the 4 years I had the # that ranged for scums like this to a gym right up the street from me.

When you borrow $, or make committments to you do have to pay it back.... some do not understand this Iguess whicg opens a whole new industry to these preditors .

Or he might simply have been the target of criminals pretending to be debt collectors that got his information in some way.  They sell it amongst themselves.  From the complaints here, he is being persued by crooks looking to scam him out of money.  Instead of handling it the right way he chose to change numbers, and probably ended up in the same situation you are in, getting calls for that number's previous owner.
