recieved call from ixe accelerated financial center to reduce intrest rates dont fall for it i dont think it exist does not come up anywere

Received call asking to reduce interest rates on all credit cards asked for my expiration date on card then asked for my card # I asked his name he said he was Chris White I did not give him my card # and said I would call him back if I thought he was legit. Number does not come up anywhere except to say it comes from Florida. Don't fall for it. Number on my phone said 305-654-1842 but he gave me 1-888-226-5185.

Lady called and offered to lower my credit cards interest rates.Not thinking,I gave her a card number.After checking,was told this card was almost maxed out,and asked for another card number.I'm awake now and said couldn't find it,so she is going to call back tomorrow for the other number.Time now me to have some fun.don't know what I'm gonna do yet but it will be confusing.

I don't want to pay for caller ID, so the above number is their toll-free number.  I gave Chris White (real name?) of IXE Accelerated Financial Center, LLC a bunch of bogus info so I could glean enough of their info to file a complaint to the DoNotCallList.  I told them I had a credit card with a balance of about $15k and was (desperate enough to be) paying 24% interest.  They took the bait.  They tried to charge $695 to my bogus card and said they would send a packet of some sort to my bogus address, which is probably in the middle of a nearby lake.  They made a recording of my responses when vocally agreeing to their contract.  I found it interesting that they spoke as if they knew about my payment history with my bogus credit card.  When I called the credit card company to warn them of what I did, they said that they had no account holder with the made-up number I gave to IXE.  I hope the DoNotCallList eventually works.

p.s.  My name is not really Fred L. Smith, but that is the name I came up with on such short notice when IXE asked me.

Called around 8:30 pm, offering to lower my interest rates.  I selected "1" and was eventually connected to a man who asked for identifying information. I remarked that he had called me, so he would have to tell me which account he was calling me about.  He said he couldn't even give me the last four numbers because of privacy.  Very professional sounding.  I asked for a number so I could call him back. He gave me the 888-226-5185 number and mentioned that he was with IXE Financial and that they worked with several banks, including Chase, and other major banks (can't recall names).  I logged on to see what I could find.

Received call 9:00 pm today. Same story except man identified himself as "Paul Kaufman."  Said I could call back between 10-5 and he would be there. Also identified himself with IXE Financial. Did not give him any info and will not call back but something needs to be done to stop this fraud and theft.

Scam, scam, scam! Called as "card member services"  offering to lower my credit card interest rates. Seemed OK at first, but sent membership pack with misspelled name, and then "Florida" based finacial company, charged me $749 for "groceries" in Queens New York. When I called them about it, they said a supervisor would call me back right away. Waited 20 minutes, then called  my bank to cancel card, and dispute charge. Will file complaint with state attourney's office

Get on the National Do Not Call Registry www.donotcall.gov  After 31 days telemarketers are not to call you. You can file a complaint at that same site. I heard once that the company can get fined & have to pay you but I don't know that process.
