Called me with this nonsense too.  I entered a few contests at a recent travel show at a convention center.  I assumed one of those bozos was calling.  im curious- I wonder what happens with the poor suckers who show up looking for a tablet and a gift card.

I received a voicemail yesterday that exactly matches this description. I couldn't remember having entered a contest for an SUV, but I was glad to learn I had won a tablet and a gift certificate...so I called the number. The guy who answered asked me a few questions, including whether I was married. I said no, whereupon he said told me I couldn't participate. When I asked how my marital status affected the fact that I had already won something, he interrupted me, got testy, said the promoter was interested in talking only with married people, then hung up on me. Scam, Scam, Scam! (Where is the FCC?)

Just received the call...so glad I googled the number.  Hope they can catch these crooks!

I received a call from this number. I did not win the hotwheels SUV either.  I did win a google android tablet and $100 giftcard and I am supposed to call Kris Kuba (was that a real person) and does that caller really use that voice everyday? Ouch!  Call 1-888-226-6120 x 456 and ask for Kris Kuba. I have no idea the name of the company as they decided not to share that part.

I got same exact call, same person, same prizes.  I wasn't home so called back to find out that after asking marital status and income level I qualified as a winner.  I set up an appointment to claim my prize and was told that it will take about an hour and half from start to finish.   The guy said they would give a tour of their facility to see products.  He said that they were called "Buy Direct" but I can't find anything on line about them.  I am guessing that it will be a hard sales pitch for something so there is NO WAY I will be going.  Very clever promotion by saying that you won something and then have to attend the presentation to claim your prize.  He claimed that you don't have to buy anything and are not under any obligation, but I am sure that is all BS.

Robocall left on answering machine said "you entered a drawing for SUV but won a google tablet.  Call 1-888-226-6120 x456 to claim tablet and $100."  I shoulda checked here first.  I'll probably get a gazillion dollar charge on my phone bill - it just clicked (registering the number as an idiot) after I dialed, then disconnected me.  Damnit.

Same details as others reporting this number. Since I have not entered any contests for years I was highly suspious. After reading these reports I'm not going to waste my time on this scam and suggest you do the same.

I just got the call from 888-226-6120 that said I won an android tablet and $100 gift certificate and am to call back at x 456
The number belongs to PC and Antivirus Software Co when I did an advanced number search. I already have an android tablet and I won't travel to pick up another one when I don't know the company. Plus I got a popup window to download the software at the site I landed on. My blocker caught it though.

I received a call this morning - caller ID ADP - "You didn't win the SUV - but you were chosen as a runner-up and are eligible for an Android tablet and a $100.00 gift card. Just call Chris Cooba @888-226-6120 to receive your tablet and gift card." Really? They don't mention my name in this "contest." TGTBT (Too Good To Be True)

I just got my robo call. Knew it was a scam. I haven't entered any contest. Wonder if this is for seniors? I have plenty of friends who are tired of calls from New York wanting to by their homes.  Or just being pestered from 7;00 am till 11;00 pm, wanting to find someone gullible.

I'll never understand why anyone (unless they're a shill) would come to a site that's set up for debunking scams, if their experience was as positive as you make it.

So it goes like this: you get a call from this person at this number but for YOU everything works out just as they promise. You get your gift card and tablet or Ferrari or McMansion, and a trillion dollars, and you're as happy as a pig in [***]. Good for you.

But then you INEXPLICABLY decide to check to see if the number that called you is scamming people?

I just got a message on my answering machine telling me I didn't win the SUV (shucks) but I DID win an Android tablet and a $100 gift card because I was a runner-up.  Of course I had to pop online and check out the phone number the woman left because, ya know, too good to be true and all that.  I came across this thread but what I find interesting is that number is listed in Google as "Security Camera Reviews" in NY.  Dumb question but... how can a scam operation use the same phone number as a legitimate business?  Doesn't matter I guess.  And the number she gave me didn't show up on my caller ID.  In fact, there's NO number on my caller ID that corresponds to her call.  Weird.  Maybe she's a ghosty, lol.

Yep.  Got a call today from Chris Kuba -- *following* the letter I got two days ago, in a brown, official-looking envelope from Washington, DC (!!!), stamped "Final Notice."  Heavens!  The fear!  The anxiety!  I opened it with trembling hands.  It was a scam notice for an SUV, Android tablet, blah blah blah.

We got a message on our answering machine with the same "prize" offer as the others (tablet plus $100 gift card). I was suspicious because (a) there was no indication which of us the message was for, and (b) there was no mention of the sweepstakes sponsor's name. I have won prizes in the past, and the sponsor is always mentioned -- after all, that's why they're sponsoring the sweeps.

Called this number asked for ext 456 & each time the call was dropped.  Yeah this is a scamm.

I called the number for my free tablet......Just a few questions thou.  I said well I have a few questions first.  Who ran this contest and where did I 'enter' it.  Oh, in mall and stores (I hate the Mall and rarely go shopping).  So they verify my first name, last name.  Then "are you between the ages of 30-60".  Well I was when I 'entered' (I never enter these things) but now I'm 62 so boo hoo I was disqualified..

Same as noted above.  When I called back to receive directions regarding tablet prize -after some discussion -told me prizes were restricted to 30 to 60 year old contestants so I didn't qualify  after I gave them my age beyond 60. When I stated it was very unusual for a contest to restrict by age.  Then I asked  what kind of scam is this, I was abruptly disconnected !

I also received this  call on my office voicemail today saying I did NOT win the SUV but, I did win a google android tablet and $100 gift card and that I am to call Kris Kuba at 888-226-6120 x 456 .

Since I know I did not enter any contests for any SUV's in the last couple of years, I decided to "Google" the number to see if there was a legitimate company behind the number. There is not! Also, My phone system logs incoming caller id's and the number associated with this voice message was 708-515-9584 and the label "ADT" which also is bogus.
I then called my T1 provider and gave them the date and time of this call to see if there was any additional info transmitted with this call and they had nothing more to add. So, the caller is intentionally hiding their call information.

This tells us that the "government's Truth in Caller Id Act" and the so called "Do Not Call list" is worthless and unenforceable when phone systems can spoof / fake their data.

You can file a complaint here with the FTC so they can maybe give them a $10000 fine.
