Called to inform me I had won free trip, with a minor purchase, etc. Asked for supervisor, the lady hung up.

A woman with a foreign accent called, asked for "Mrs. Mills(?)" and when I told her she had the wrong number she hung up on me.  I called the number back and got what sounded like a home answering machine.

I am on the Do Not Call List.

They just called again--just to hang up on me!

After answering and the typical few second wait for their system to route the answered call to a person, a woman with a heavy foreign accent asked for my wife.  I asked who was calling, and she said her name and that we had won a free trip.  I cut her off and told her we are on the Do Not Call Registry.  She said "Oh, I'm sorry" and hung up.  When I called the number back, it said "that extension is not available" and went to an answering machine.

I did not answer as I did not recognize this number, but we are on the do not call list. After reading the other posts, I'm glad I didn't answer! Sounds extremely suspicious...

got a call this a.m. from # 888-228-5915. I waited and said Hello three times , nobody answered so I hung up. We are on the do not call registry.
With so many of my friends & relatives using purchased phone cards you really have to answer. Those  numbers are unfamiliar too.

Received a call this morning from 888-228-5915. Obviously from a boiler room operation, could hear lots of calls in the background.  I asked why he was calling.  He said he was from the "Awards Department" of a Travel Service.
Told him we are on the Do Not Call registry & don't call again.

I'm in the Portland, OR area, and just got a call from this number 888-228-5915.  As soon as I said "Hello"  I could hear like 1 second of foreign language in the background, and they hung up on me.

Just got a call from that number, I Didn't answer (Portland Oregon Also)

Got a couple of calls from them again today. I never answer. I am on the Do Not Call reg as well. I have blocked their numbers using *60 adding their numbers, but they still seem to ring through. I'm in the Portland area as well.

yeah i want to report this unknown caller , so that they wont call back here again
