This company called my mother and coerced her into an account with them.  She is 90 years old.  The company is listed on her checking account as Alphasafe Turin.  The salesman's name is Fred Jarvis.  They said that it was identity theft protection and they are insuring her against 25,000 worth of stolen debt by charging 391 per month!  When I called they told me that they had already given her 1 year of free coverage, which is a lie.  She was worried when she got the call and contacted the bank immediately.  She is hard of hearing, has had a stroke and was led to believe, or believed that it was someone from the bank.  They took 399.00 from a woman who lives on 800 per month is social security!  It is evident when you speak to her that she is elderly and has had a stroke.  How dare they!  When I called the number on the bank statement, after holding for 40 minutes I told them how dispicable this is and they said they would do a refund immediately.  We'll see.  We are going to the bank to file a complaint.  I told them that I want to hear the tape recording with her voice saying she approves of this withdrawal.  Apparently, there was none.  She told me that she said no, she didn't want this until she had seen paperwork that explained what it was.  Beware and protect our senior citizens from thieves like this!

no phone call, just $399.00 from my Bank of America checking acct. Listing Alphasafe Turin.I called the 888-228-6343, I said I did not ok this , who are you and I want my money returned. They said they would send me the necessary papers to sign to get my funds returned. I spoke in person at my local bank branch, they had no clue and told me to wait til the paperwork comes. After seeing your web-site I am worried, I am 81 years old and live on Soc.Sec. Can you help me get my money so I can have grocerys next month?

I recieved a call on dec. 1st saying this was my bank Capitol One and that there had been a breach on my account and they needed to verify the information. When I told my wife when she came home she immediately called the bank and they said they did not call about the account and we should come down to the bank and close out the account. On dec. 2nd we went down and did that leaving just enough money to cover the 2 checks we had out and because it was to late to reroute my social security check they would leave it open till they came in and they would reroute my check to the new account. On dec 11th a check from this company hit my account throwing it into being overdraft. We went back to the bank to dispute it and they filled out the paperwork and had an investigation done, but the bank refunded the charge back and now 4 months later they are saying these people had a legitamate claim to take the money out and now the bank is saying we have to fight this company for the money. They have this number but it stays busy 24 hours a day so i'm not sure how the bank did any kind of investigation on it. I really feel like the bank should not have accepted the charge on an account they had mark with specific instruction to close, but i guess they want to dump on the elderly. so i am looking for help with this matter any way i can. we are on a fixed income and truly can't afford to just give up 399 dollars for something we have never seen a product from. I don't know who this company is are what they sell, so any help you can giver me i will appreciate, me and my wife really need our money back.

The same thing has happened to me. I am 85 years old.  When I called the
888-228-6343  it is now the phone # of a used car lot.  There was a
2nd #399 taken from my account with a different phone # 800-476-6439.
This is answered by an answering machine. I have left 3 messages with
no response, of course. This is despicable, but I don't know what to do
about it.

This phone number is listed on my bank statement with a withdrawl of
$399 on November 3, 2008.  This is fraud.  I have never authorized this.  When I call the above number,it is answered by a man who says it is a
car sales.He says no one has ever called him asking for Alphasafe Turin.
I believe this to be a lie. They took another $399 in Feb.2009 with
a different phone # 800-476-6439. It is answered by an answering machine.
I have left 3 messages and of course, no one has called back.

I received an email with 1.888.228.6343. The email stated they were emailing me in response to a job and they "require applicants to complete a security / credit check to verify your details...a full credit report however is required by law because you will be coming across private finical data. In addition, it is used to verify legal US citizenship, employment history, social security references and a verifiable confirmation of address..." And it asked me to go the following links to complete information: http://www.data-serve.net/backgroundcheck/ and http://www.data-serve.net/applicant.php. When the links didn't work I became more suspecious and found other responses of fraud to this 1-88-228-6343. The email came from Eric Armistead, Data-Serve.net (a website that doesn't exist) 1.888.228.6343.

The number that I was given was 888-508-9022 and was reported as Data Serve Team from the e-mail leighcotreau584@yahoo.com. Luckily it all seemed very suspicious to me so I haven't been victimized.

I received an email just like the one for TinaB....Erik Armistead/Data Gateway sent email responding to a job I applied for (that I thought was legit). I think even those of us who haven't been out money in an account should be given money for the time we spent sending a resume' to someone pretending to be legit humans with available jobs. f-ing waste of time...thanks for nothing [***].
