They were sending letters with the same offer.  They are associated with Global Vacation Network and Dudley Media Group.  Here are some warnings from the BBB and news sources about this scam;

I got a letter in he mail from Preferred Client Services in Grand Rapids, MI (phone number 1.888.228.7008) - inviting me and my household to participate in a marketing study .... blah, blah, blah.
According to the letter, they are going to give me a free Android Tablet ...  blah,blah, blah.
I already have a tablet and I don't want to participate in their scam no matter what they want to give me for free!!
Good bye scammers!

Thanks for the heads up. I got a letter too. I figured there was some kind of  a catch.

I actually only received a letter, not sure if anyone ever called. Sounded like a scam. Glad I checked the number provided first.

This website is one of the most valuable tools for consumers, and it's free.  Thank you 800notes and thank you to all who posted.  I received the letter yesterday about receiving the free tablet.  It also states that all you have to do is call 888 228-7008 to pick yours up with absolutely no obligation.  They even enclosed a survey to fill out about the quality of the tablet itself.  As they get more and more inventive on ways to scam people, we have one weapon on our side......this website.

Got a letter today.  Preferred Clint services free tablet.  Nothing is free.  I'm glad I checked this out. Thanks for all the info on these guys.   It sounded like a scam to me.

Received letter today, envelope return address was Whitehouse, Texas.  The letter was the same as stated above. Address on the letter 38701 Seven Mile Road, Suite150, Livonia, Mi. Same  888-228-7008 phone number. Filed it in trash...Scam.

I also got the same letter today plus a $10.00 Amazon gift card. Address on the letter 38701 Seven Mile Road, Suite150, Livonia, Mi. It's going in the trash.

Same letter today; return address on envelope was PO Box 1588 Whitehouse TX75791; letterhead address was 2525 East Paris Ave Suite 160 Grand Rapids MI 49546

Got a letter, checked the phonne number, read reviews here, and trashed the letter. So tired of these good for nothings.

I also got a letter with a Whitehouse, TX return address. Also has 38701 Seven Mile Rd address printed on letter. Outside envelope looks like personalized fo me. Interesting that there is no post mark on the envelope. Into the shredder this goes.
