- freeway flyerGot two messages from them similar to those posted before me; in California here. The website LOOKS "official" and "real" but if you mouse around on it a bit, you'll see there are no links. Just a way to contact them, and it shows an address in Las Vegas. Not worth the risk. Blocking them. I'm sure they'll find me another way, as lately I've been getting a lot more scam texts than ever before - at least 2 or 3 per day.

- freeway flyerBTW - you can probably report the scam text by forwarding it to 7726 ("SPAM"). Many of the large cell service providers use this system. They will acknowledge receipt fo the "scam" text and then ask for the phone number that sent it to you. Give them that as well, and they will then thank you for your assistance. It may not stop the texts from coming right away, but I've read articles that say this reporting helps them improve their spam filters for phone calls and texts. So it's worth the effort. Plus you'll feel like you did something to help stop it.

- NH Citizen replies to NH Citizen| 1 replyI have Verizon. You can report spam for free if you forward the message to 7726. Be careful not to click on any links while copying the message. After you forward it, Verizon will ask you for the sender's number so that they can investigate and block it.
- BigA replies to NH CitizenAll carriers in the US, Canada, and Great Britain use that service. However there are times when that service does not work. It did not work on political texts last year so I'm thinking that if it might possibly have a valid reason for being sent that it isn't blocked? Verizon also has a "report spam". I use both 7726 and "report spam" afterwards.

- JaredThis is a company that is hired to collect data analytics.
They are hired by many different companies, and the survey they send is likely related to something local.
For me, they had a survey on a local city and my political leanings.
The org that asked them to contact me claims to be independent, but had an obvious right-leaning bias on the pages I found. For this reason I avoided the survey - PEW can contact me if they wish, I won't feed an echo chamber.- Caller: US Polling
