- SueI keep getting calls from this number and the person calling states they are Regions Bank. Since June 29 I have received 15 calls. I received 3 in one day. I told them to call my personal banker at Regions and not call me anymore. That did not help.
- Caller: Regions Bank??????
- Cassandra| 4 repliesThis is NOT Regions Bank. First of all it comes up Toll Free. Regions Bank always has their name at the top of the caller ID. Second, this number is not listed on any of their contact numbers. Don't fall for this. It is a scam. Any reputable company would have their name listed when they call.
- Caller: Supposedly Regions Bank
- Debbie replies to Cassandra| 1 replyYou are correct. I bank with Regions, so after at least 5 calls a day, everyday for months, I called Regions and ask if this was any number associated with them, they said NO. I had my account flagged for this number, just in case and they also turned in this number to their fraud department. I know scammers get around numbers all the time, but at the least the bank knows, and hopefully this will help others. BTW, this same number also claims to be Bank Of America sometimes........must be powerful to pick who you would like to be each day on a whim........would rather just be honest myself.
- NikkiKeep getting calls from this number stating they are with Regions Bank left a message today on my voice mail.
- Caller: no number just claims to be Regions
- Regionsthis is a scam
- Regions Employee| 4 repliesThis is regions #!! You all are making it worst on yourself to not return the call. Just think people! Your address is in the phone book so it's not a secret it's public info. & what can we do with your date of birth? NOTHING. But once again it's your acct, not ours!
- Caller: Regions
- Call type: Debt collector
- anon replies to Regions EmployeeSo says the shill....
- None of Your Bee's wax replies to Regions Employee| 2 repliesROFL! You can't do anything with someones name & DOB? Male cow bowel matter shilly.. Googling someone's name and DOB can provide a lot of info online, why I tell everyone to do just that and make the places it turns up remove the information.
When in doubt, people should always seek to speak with their branch office or use the numbers on the back of their cards.. - Regions Employee replies to None of Your Bee's wax| 1 replyWell at the end of the day I'm not going to argue, because it's your account not mines!
- None of your Bee's Wax replies to Regions EmployeeI don't bank there. And even at that, I'm not dumb enough to give information to someone that cold calls. If the bank calls, they should be able to tell you your information and not the other way around. Been there and done that!
When in doubt, always contact your branch, or call the number on the back of the card! - Florida GalYes this number is Regions Bank. They are calling in regards to a past due payment. If you have already spoken to them, they will keep calling - their records updating is bad. I had already filed bankruptcy, and although they were notified, they still had not updated their records and kept calling.
- Caller: Regions Bank
- Call type: Debt collector
- MichelleIt is Regions Bank. It is the collections department.
- Amanda| 1 replyYou may claim that this number is Regions bank but I have never done business with that bank or Bank of America...so they cannot claim to be Debt Collecting from me!! As far as I am concerned this is a SCAM and I will not be giving my name or any other information out to Them or Any other so called Debt Collection Agency over the phone or in any other way unless it is PROVEN beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are who they claim to be.
- Caller: Supposedly Regions Bank (Listed as Unknown)
- RodGot a call from this number and did not answer. My ex got a call soon after I did and she answered saying it was someone asking about information on me but she didn't give any information nor answer any of their questions. She informed me of the phone call and our conclusion was it was Regions because we had a joint CC with them. I paid on the card but the payment didn't clear until after the due date. So it may actually be Regions or Debt Collectors. If it is real or not I suggest clarifying with the caller to say you don't want anymore calls or there is no need to call because your payments are current.
- Caller: Regions (possibly)
- Call type: Debt collector
- elaineI'm in Florida and this is the second call I have received. I notified Regions Bank again. From the notes for this 888 number it looks like Regions Bank can't have it shut down.
- Caller: 888-231-5461

- JohnI took 20 minutes calling Regions directly and this is a real regions employee. This is their Credit Card dept. You may have bad charges on your credit card. Call 1800 Regions and type 0 to get operator and go that method if you don't feel comfortable with calling this number directly.
- Caller: regions
- Call type: Debt collector
- NormReceived a call from this number and the quality of the call was poor. Some rude nasty female saying she was from Regions Bank and at first, thought it was Lily Tomlin of TV fame. Wanted me to give my date of birth, street address and source of income. I'm retired. Then wanted an alternate phone number. Said she was calling from Alabama.
- Caller: "Not Provided" on Caller Id.

- NunyaCaller from 205-451-0370 left message that she was calling from Regents Bank (almost sounded like Regions Bank) and I needed to call 888-231-5461. Called local Regions Bank to see if telephone number was legit. Regions Bank numbers are 800, not 888. Googled the 205 number and it came up as Regents Bank, but not sure it is a legit business.
- Caller: Regents Bank
