Called my 12 year old daughter and said she was in legal trouble with her bank and someone would be coming to visit her if she didn't call back immediately.

Why surprised? Whoever answers the phone or hears the message will be the ones in "trouble",   regardless if you're 12 or 112. It's open season on whoever answers the phone and these con artists take anyone who does. Refrain from answering unknown numbers if possible and get callers aggravated.

Called about the irs and how I owed money. Didn't state anything else.

Message left stating I would be receiving a visit from someone due to tax problems.

Called about problem w/unpaid taxes.

They called me stating I owe money and that someone will be coming to see me shortly and that me or my attorney needs to get a hold of them. They also called from a number that was all zeros and left the same message.

They called said I owed IRS money and I would have visitors shortly and have assets seized etc. I did call number back and they did answer IRS. I've never known IRS to work like this.

Called stating they were from IRS and that I owed money. Called them back so they could inform me that I owed them money and that they'd take legal action if I didn't pay them.

It's a scam. I was informed by the actual IRS that they will never call you. All interaction is done thru the mail.

Messages says "Inform you that the IRS has decided to initiate legal proceedings against your name. So in the next 24hrs we will be marking a lien on your assets in your bank account due to your inability to settle your dues with the IRS. A bill collection officer will visit you soon to complete the paper works. If you have any questions then call our tax default line at 18882377396. If you don't call immediately or we don't hear from your attorney then you will be responsible for all legal consequences. Goodbye"

A supposed Bill Collection Co. called Pay-It-Works called me & left 3 messages saying I have Unpaid debt & and do I have an attorney to represent me in this matter. The man then referenced that if I do not have an attorney handling this, they will be paying me a visit very soon. He also left a Tax Default Service Line to call ASAP at: 888-237-7396 I called the number back right away, already knowing it was a scam. Especially when the man on the phone answered, " IRS", & then proceeded to verify my phone#, home address & email. I did not like him having my personal info, at all. He said I have unpaid debt with the IRS. Once I told him, my Uncle is a CPA & I file my taxes every year, so there is no way I can owe anything, The man got mad & said, "Don't you ever call hear again!". I then replied, "I know this is a scam so don't you ever call me again!". Before I could finish my sentence, the man hung up on me. Total fraud. It is disgusting how low-life's like this use these tactics to try to scare people out of relinquishing their money.

Left message on answering machine, Saying either I or my attorney should call back.  Didn't say who it was or where they were calling from.  Blocked the number.

I got the same call as everyone else here, kinda got worried until I searched it up and this came up, so it's all a scam? we shouldn't worry right?

A man with an Asian accent called my cellphone  informing me he was an IRS Officer that I had committed fraud on my taxes I was very upset but I know the IRS doesn't call to get payment from a any person.  He was very arrogant I said I am recording your call and I am calling the police.  I blocked the number but I have the recording.  Thank you.

I owed money to the IRS

Call from this phone number. Left automated voicemail saying I was responsible for legal issues if me or my attorney didn't get with them ASAP. Sounds phony to me

2 separate phone calls including the number 8458090003 from the "IRS" in extremely rough English... I'm not even the head of household!

I called the number back and tore them a new A**Hole and ripped them to shreds verbally until he had to hang up.  Out of Country Scam artists

Called saying that I owed back taxes and that they would prove it in court

They called me twice and said the same thing in the recording
