They call almost every day! Saying they need late payment on account #11070782. The only option is to press (1) to make a credit card payment. We have NO account with ADT! This has been going on for almost 3 months!

Sam story as Michael.  I received a message on my recorder saying account number 114935654 is past due and to press 1 to make a payment.  We do not have ADT service.

Tyco Integrated Security Services that is probably ADT. We do not have that account anymore and no service but they might still have the account running despite the cancellation of service. Good luck.

Well I got a call here at work from these people.

Automated system asking us to call back using the number they just called from. LOL

Not sure why they just didn't start a conversation when I was on the line covering from the receptionest.

This is a legitimate number. Chances are they should be trying to reach someone in your AP department if they are calling at work. They also called me at work and we do owe them for some security services, they just had the wrong person. Just give them the name and number of the AP person and the calls should stop.

This number calls but when I pick up the receiver, it is dialing IN, then hangs up. Not the screeching of a fax line either.

My call is the same as Laura's on Feb 23.   I receive it almost daily around the same time in the morning.

Got a call at work. The number dials in and I get a recording from Tyco Security (formerly ADT, I think) regarding an account. We currently do have service with them, so I think this is a legitimate call.

Warning sign 1 - 800 number.
Warning sign 2 - Caller ID says Toll Free Call.
Warning sign 3 - When I picked up the phone started ringing as if I was dialing in.

I hung up. Now reading the posts, I wonder if it was a legitimate call as we do have Tyco service. Still, typically when we get a call from Tyco it's from a number with a real area code and says Tyco on caller ID. It's been a few minutes and they haven't called back.

Seems like a telemarketing call at first, but it's actually legitimate.
