I received a letter trying to look like it was from the VA in regard to my mortgage.  It said to call the 1-888-238-2953 number in regard to my VA loan.  1st I'm not a vet so my mortgage is with a private lender.  2nd they had the mortgage amount incorrect and tried to claim that my monthly payment would be lower.  However, the monthly they listed in the letter was higher than I actually pay now.  Thought it was suspicious so I checked the phone number and found this site.  They are probably trying to get more personal information then try to sell me a loan....THAT I DO NOT NEED!

I also got a letter,,, important regarding my mortage, but the fools are def. wrong, it's not even who I am through!!!!,,

I got a letter saying that I had a combined debt on my credit cards of almost 20,00 and they could reduce my total debt to less than $7000 and I had to act before September 29th.  They said this was a certified benefits statement and I was the beneficiary.

Got a letter saying they will reduce my loan of 25,00 to 11,250. I have NO credit cards they listed nor do I bank at anything they listed.
