Always call but when you answer and say "hello",no answer. Just hangs up then.They always call. I think it the Presidential Commisiom or some other sort of BS

Have been calling daily starting in Nov. 2009.  No message just hang up.

That number called my house 8 times on Saturday, 21 November.  On the 8th call I stayed on the line instead of just picking up and hanging up.  A man said hello and I said "quit calling this number."  He said OK and hung up.

This is from Northwest Savings Bank urging depositors to send in their proxy vote.

They want to set up some sort of charity. Obviously they'll be using funds from the bank.  How can this be a good idea?  Look at the money they are spending to hound depositors via this phone spam!  I was going to vote YES, but now I don't think so.  They want this too badly for my tastes.  A bank shouldn't be looking to give money away.  Charity begins at home!

They call then and say nothing.
I called the number back and it says something like:

Thank you for calling Northwest Bank Corp Proxy hotline.
Our offices are closed....... etc.

Mary, you are probably right. I got a letter from them to vote. I also am getting that number calling me. I may answer it next time. I also do not answer ID's with no name on them or unknown's.

if you have COMCAST PHONE SERVICES you may block numbers and it's so easy.
