Got call from this number. Get them 2 or 3 times a week. Message not left.  TX State Law prohibits use of the telephone to harass debtors by calling anonymously or making repeated or continuous calls. Federal law prohibits calls before 8AM or after 9PM, calls at work, etc. If you should owe money or can't meet their "plan of action", then they just bug you and laugh about it. A very sick game. The term "I don't have the money" is not understood. "Just mail me a bill; I'll send you a payment" - another plan that might work too. This is just a suggestion for these unprofessional individuals (who read this stuff too).

My son got a call from ARS. They told him they needed to talk to him urgently.  He's 19 years old and has NO DEBT.  We called to tell them they had a wrong number and someone named Della was nothing but rude.  No apology.

Calls continuously...never leaves a message telling me what the call is about..only that "it has become highly visible". Caller's name is: Bill Coleman.

UNKNOWN #, the female was talking so fast, I had to replay the message 5x's to understand what she was saying. The message: call 888 238 8232- it's high importance about an account##### WKK

They are a collection agency who bought your debt for .10 on the dollar. If you owed 10,000 in debt they purchased the debt for 1000 and are trying to make money. Keep your money in your wallet and do not talk to them.

Calls all the time and her name is Patty Moore. I won't talk to her. Yes, I owe a debt but can't pay the balance now and they won't take a small amount on account. What should I do????? Please someone help me. What happens to me if I don't pay at all?????

these sorry excuses for collectors called my house leaving no name just a reference # and my acct # now ive got an arrangement on paper with them but had lost the address the collector at ext 2433 and i had it out last month when i asked for the address this guy reamed into me and tried to change the arr so i told him id find the add and send it to him i hung up now this sorry excuse for human life has the balls to call me back i called him not him calling me first time in 3 years ive ever even got a call on the acct

i got a phone call from a regular number with the same area code as me, and it was a recording for the ars saying to call back the same 888 number as the rest of you. it's strange they adopted a local number...

Rashaun @ 888-238-8232 x 2593 called my mother and left an urgent and threatening message for me to call them.  Capital One credit card co. promised my mother to waive the finance charges on my late father's account if she will pay the total balance of $300 and some dollars charged 3 days before he passed away, and my mother did, even though her name was not even on the account.  But afterwards, the finance charges just kept piling up regardless the balance was $0.00. Capital One Credit Card closed the account and refused to talk to my mother about the finance charges. (by then, it was in the hundreds.)   Eventually mother got a letter from Capital One stating that I am not responsible for this account, but she (actually I) kept getting calls and letters from different collection agencys. Could someone tell me how to stop them to call me? and how to hold Capital One Credit Card Co. responsible for all the harrasement I am getting?

They are the rudest bunch or people ever.  First they started yelling at me when I called them to let them know I couldn't pay the full amount AT THIS TIME, told me to "get a hold of yourself ma'am".  And then hung up on me.  How do they live with themselves??  Sweet as pie when they first get you and want to help you but then they turn into demon spawn!

Called for someone who does not live here.  Argued with me that they did live in my house.  Left 1-888-238-8232 as the number to call back x2600 name Ezra.  He wanted my husbands number at work in order to get a number for the person he is trying to get ahold of.  Claims MY number was a reference number for them but then also claims its the person's home number which are not the same things!
