Today is the 2nd day I got a call from some Broad named Ashley. It comes up private on my caller ID but she leaves me a voicemail to call her back at 888 240-1485. Some other lady answers and says I'm being sued for over $1300. I told her there's no way in hell I took out a payday loan in 2012 for $1000. Then she says she's coming to serve me at work and my H.R. supervisor needs to be present. I continue to refuse to pay it so she goes down to $800. Still I'm refusing to pay something that I don't owe and then she says they'd settle out of court for half of that. NOPE I'm still not paying it, so I told her to mail me the paperwork or email me something. Of course I haven't heard anything back from her. By the way a Payday advance loan collector would NEVER let anybody go that long without paying. I saw on 20/20 where these people call the debtor every 5 minutes and call their work just as much. It's another scam because a couple of people are too damn lazy to get e real job.

I just received the exact same voice mail message from Ashley and it came up private on my caller ID as well. I called the number 888-240-1485 which was the call back number and a gentleman answered quoted the last 4 of my SSN and stated that I owed $730 from a payday loan from 2/6/11. He said that his company was hired by Horizon Opportunities. I told him that I did not received a payday loan nor have I ever heard of Horizon Opportunities. He said that they have sent correspondence to my home at which time they were willing to settle (and they had my current home address which I did not live at this address in 2011). I told him I have never received any correspondence, I have received several random phone calls from various scammers, and unless I received something REAL in writing, I would not be willing to provide them any information. I also informed him that the call was being recorded. He simply said that he would be sending the claim back to the company and someone would be contacting me in 1-2 weeks. So we'll see...

1-888-240-0290 is the number that called for my bf. They called his step sister and her mother saying things like there is a claim with his name and SSN attached to it. I know for a fact this is not real, I once got a job off of Craigslist for a collection s rep I am an experienced collector they had the same scam going on with the package message saying it's a superna to go-to court on a claim that's been filed against you. Then they tell you it's for a payday loan company and the bill is for 1200$ and they will settle for 227$ . This is all a huge scam as the owner told me that these are not debts what they are is applications for payday loan companies that people once filled out during their lifetime. She said she bought the accounts for a dollar each . They are not real debts THERE IS NO WAY I COULD WORK FOR A DIRTBAG COMPANY LIKE THAT I DONT SEE HOW THESE PEOPLE CAN THINK THIS IS SMART OR AT ALL LEGAL. THEY WILL BE CAUGHT ONE DAY BY THE FTC AND FCC. SO PLEASE DO NOT BE SCARED ONE BIT. THEY CANT DO ANYTHING TO YOU .

I forgot to say they will even fake a settlement letter and send it to your email also they even have a DocuSign account to look more legit. If you paid any of these types of companies call your bank and reverse the payment. This way they will lose their merchant which is hard to get one for these kinds of fake companies. So this way they can't have a company to run their payments. Good luck.
