This morning 03/09/2011, I was at work and I answered the phone. A man with a accent from some other country that I could hardly unerstand  starting stating that I was wanted for criminal charges.
I was upset. I said for what? He starting stating my social security number and my bank account. I could
not believe what I was hearing. How does he know my confidential information????
I told him I do not know what he is talking about. He said Do you want to speak to my manager? I told him NO. He wanted to speak with my manager. I told him No. He started being rude and demanding that I owed money. He kept saying over and over my social security number and my bank account number.
I hung up on him. He called back about 25 times. My supervisor talked to him and he told her that I had a loan that I would not pay. She told him not to call back that if he would give me his number she would have me call back. He gave her the number 888-240-7142  Dan Richards..
I called 888-240-7142 and a different man answered the phone. I asked him what was the names of his
I company. He said Legal department of UNITED LEGAL CASH.
The man started calling my work number again and another girl told him that not to call this number again that this was a business. He kept calling back over and over again being very rude and making all kinds of harressing remarks no matter who answered the phone. This is ridiculous.
I reported them to the Federal Trade Commission. I also called my bank to check my account and make sure that no money had been taken. The woman at the bank said they had this same situation happen to an employee of the bank last week and they called over and over again.
This is really scary. This has to be a scam to take money out of bank accounts. I am sure it was a international company because of the accent and the lack of communication. They need to be caught and stop this nonsense.

*I just got a call from them.  Called ID showed up 000-00. I can't block that.  A Cynthia somebody left a message to have my lawyer or myself call.  Wished me luck if I didn't call back.  They left the number 888-240-7142.  I like when you call they answer the phone "hello."  Wouldn't you think they would answer like they are supposed to?

Oh my goodness, I got the same exact call. He didn't leave his name but had mine.  He said that he was from the legal department at United Services.  He told me to call him back now or have my attorney call him back.  He called at 6:30pm and left that message.  He said he would be visiting me at work or home if I didn't call and that I was going to be in legal trouble.....and also said "Good Luck".

Hi I just got the same call they first called me unknown and then they called me from 9163950000 and left me another number to call back at 8882407142 and telling me that if I didn't call back good luck. It was from some cash advance and he even gave me the exact company I worked for. WheI told him that I had reported them he hung up on me. Oh and one thing is really funny whe you actually place the call it goes directly to the same person that originally called me. No transfered calls or anything

I have revived several of these calls. I almost gave them my info and fax them the letter they wanted so they could get my money. I have made mistakes and applied for payday loans. I am working on paying all my debt but people like these scam artist make it impossible for  people to get back for honest people that have made mistakes to get back on there feet.

I received a call from the caller ID 0000 too!  Some idiot who can't speak english rambling on about my attorney and claiming the same thing as everyone else. Completely Crazy!!!!!

I just received a phone call from Raymond Scott at 141 Bayview Ct Fort Myer, Fl 32130 regarding a a cash advanced loan into my bank account on Oct. 16, 2010 for $300.00.  This came from United Cash Advanced  (Payday).  I informed the man that I never took a cash advanced and that there was no record of a deposit being made into my account.  He threatened to sue one of my friends that I had used as a reference when I was looking into cash advance loans. He stated that I had used him as a guarantor.   I told him that this was impossible and then he threatened me with a lawsuit.  I asked for information showing that he had deposited money into my account along with the receipt for the deposit that was supposed to have been made into my account.  He very strongly informed me that I was to pay the money owed and then he would send me the information.  I told him that he was committing a scam and that I would pursue a suit against him.  Unbelievable!  He also tagged on other charges making the total due to settle the account at over $500.00. Stay away from all cash advance loans.  It is a revolving door once you try to apply for a loan.  You never get one, and they keep taking you into more loan companies. It never ends!

A person by the name of Tony Johnson of "United Cash - Legal Dept" called several times today harassing me at my work # but he called from 1-800-218-7084 so be aware! These people are scam artists & I am reporting them to the FTC & other entitities!
