- salguodOn September 8 or 9, female voice (recording): "this is not a marketing call, this is an important message, please call 1-888-241-6279 ...."
- CarlExactly same call. I'm pretty sure it's a collections company. I don't know of anything I owe but if I ever end up speaking to anyone by accident I simply tell them I don't return calls from someone who doesn't tell me who they are or what they're calling about.

- Kathy DSame as I'v read about others. A female saying don't hang up this is an important call. Usually there are two of these on my message manager when I get home.
- Staff at a BankWe received this call at our Teleservice office, this is not a professional automated message because if it was they would state the name of the company that is leaving the message, this sounds alot like many other scams that are done on the phone to get your banking or credit card information. Be very careful.
- JakeI got a lot of calls and a few voice messages from this number. I called back and spoke to a friendly representative who said "thank you for calling TD Card Services", asked for my phone number and then my name. I gave only my first name and said I thought they had a wrong number. She said they were trying to reach ***, asked if I knew the person (I don't), said she had removed my number and apologized for the calls.

- EricI got a few calls from 888-241-6279 while I was out of the country over the last two weeks. The message left was broken but was a woman's voice saying to contact a representative at the number. When I called back I kept getting disconnected after being put on hold. When calling themn umber they do not announce who they are.
After reading Jake's post suggesting that it might be TD Card services I called the number on the back of my TD credit card and found out that 888-241-6279 is a division of TD bank and should be a legit call. I hope to get through to them to confirm this eventually.- Caller: TD Bank
- jesse78I agree with the prior posts, this not a professional phone call. They called twice, no voice message, and when I called them back, I was on hold without any clue as to who I was waiting for because it just kept telling me to hold. Screw that, I hung up. It might be TD Bank, who is my bank and credit card, as someone posted above.
- RikkitikkitaviThis is a collection company called Gatestone. They've changed names from a previous collection company, so it is legit, if not somewhat unscrupulous in the way they leave messages.
- lizzhI had a call from them today but it was kind of creepy. It was a message from Gatestone for someone with the same last name as me but a first name totally different from anyone in my house or any family. She blasted this poor woman for not paying her bill and left the woman's case number right on my voicemail. She obviously just looked up our name in the phone book and assumed that she lived here but we don't even have a clue as to who she is. Now I have the ability to get this woman's financial info if I wanted to.

- PierreFor me, they're calling me, I answer and no one talks back after few second I hang up. Then I call back right away and I go straight to voicemail and it says to call back between business hours. Like you just called me. So I ended up just blocking the number.
- Caller: Gladstone
- esaA woman called me saying she needed to talk to my mother gave me a call back number 1888-241-6279 extension #3832. Someone from Gatestone but didn't tell me the reason why, said it was confidential.
