- JoJo in MNI just found a fraudulent $44.24 charge on one of my credit cards from these folks. I'm going to dispute it with my credit card company. ALthough I just noticed it's less than $50, so I don't know if my disputing it will work
P.S. I never did business with this company, nor did they call me. But the charge showed up anyway.- Caller: 888-247-1614

- LuluThis is why I always use prepaid credit cards when shopping online. Once the card is used up, it's done and the number will no longer work. I've had several emails from them re payment on an order # that I didn't make.
Sent them an email back and clicked on do not notify to finalize payment. Hope that didn't trigger something. Avangate is who processing iobit (advanced system care) though, as I have used it in the past. So if you have purchased Advanced System Care, this might be your credit card charges.- Caller: email

- REORTED them!| 3 repliesTried to look up malwarebytes and ended up on their FAKE website. Started to fill out info, but then closed page (did NOT authorize any charges!) And now? Ended up with bill for 59.99 from them. They are NOT associated with Malwarebytes at all. I am disputing their charge through credit card company (and will get a new card now!).
BEWARE - total Fraud!- Caller: AVNGATE*Malwarebytes (FAKE!)
- B-Edwards replies to REORTED them!| 1 replyIf you have links, you can send those to the real company so they can take action. Very frustrating. I have used Malwarebytes for many years, and I bet they would love to stop that sort of trickery. There are way too many sites that promise to redirect you, but are really just crooks.
- BigA replies to REORTED them! The free Malwarebytes works just fine. Any other information you gave them was also captured. Expect calls.
- Theo replies to B-EdwardsI use Malwarebytes and actually just received a 'credit' for a mistake I made signing up for multiple PC's...It took a little time before the credit came but it did! Their phone number they gave regarding my credit is not fake..beware and look up who really calls you or charges your account. The real number is 888-247-1614 (GA)

- Kat* replies to charlieYou're asking someone who posted 8 years ago & will never return to see your reply. If you have an unauthorized charge on your account, call the account issuer & report a fraudulent transaction then have the account cancelled.
- vincei was billed $59.99 to my debit card for malware that I didn't order or receive. When I called this number associated with the banks billing, I got a person who said he was in Amsterdam and I was to call another number, but that business wasn't open at the time. Absolute Fraud. Bank was notified and I was to receive credit back
