same here, Shawn (Sean) White (with indian accent?) after "you" without ever even mentioning my name, or asking for me by name. (don't give them your name).  Again, i feel truly sorry for the poor souls that are intimidated, frightened or confused by these calls. As for the guy making these calls, there is a special call centre in hell for them.

Same here! Said I need to pay over 4000$ or I will be arrested within 1 hour?! He even didn't know I am a student and no income at all! How could that happen? Lol.

Same thing for me today. Didn't call them back, i guess  i'll get arrested soon lollll.

I also received from Shawn  white stating that either me or my lawyer should contact him immediately  as this case is time sensitive and that I had committed fraud

Same thing.  Same message.  If I ignore his call, the legal action taken will apparently be my fault.

I received a call from this number and this guy. For sure it looks suspicious and I'm glad to find that others have receive this weird call too. Don't know what he wants but in 2016, we are aware of technology and fraud so don't do crappy things like that!

We received a call last day for the same thing, I call them back and he said to me to tell the person to stay home and the police will come in the next 45 munites, I think he's crazy and we have to do something about it! This is crazy!

I just received a phone call from this number, answered it and it was the recording of Shawn White (as previously mentioned). It definitely was a recording as it was now answering anything when I spoke, it only kept going on. I called back the number and reached what seemed to be a crappy call center (you could hear at least 4 people chatting/calling/laughing in the back). Also, I figured that if this was in fact the CRA, they should be able to discuss my "tax evasion/tax related criminal activities" in French (since I'm a French speaking person) and the girl on the phone just did not understood a single word I said, she just repeated the same phrase again. Then I switched back to English and asked for more information on the situation and that she send me documents to support this and she just hung up the phone... :(   I'll let you decide if this is a fraud or not.

message was left from a "Shaun White" officer from Tax Crime Investigation - same as all claiming i committed fraud and i need to contact a lawyer.  I called back and had a lengthy conversation with a "Mark Adams" that said i would be arrested tonight.

This is a scam ****fraud alert**** dont transfer money on yheir request they wont arrest you its a fraud ...so dont be fool

I just got the same call from Shawn "Asian voice" White. Totally fake...

got same call.i just keep calling it back from different numbers to bug them i suggest all do this and maybe it will stop them for a bit i have reached real people a couple times and called them out as scammers

"Sean White" left a message saying I've committed fraud etc etc. I called him back and he asked for my credentials which obviously I didn't give it to him. Told him I've been reading online it's a scam and he goes "then why are you wasting my time" so I asked him why he's wasting my time calling me ... and as a mature "cop" he goes "byeeeeeeeeeee"  lol clearly a legitimate cop.

I just received a message from Shawn White too.

CRA would not call and leave a message like that.

Called back and requested them to get me arrested not within 45 minutes but immediatly. Seems to be from India

I just received the same type of call.  It is "on me" if my attorney does not call them back.  Yeah, right.

Got a call from a "Officer Shawn white" from the tax crime something something CRA with Canada revenue claiming that I have committed fraud and need to contact a lawyer or Legal matter will be taken... Mhm right
