They have called my work and left a message stating this is Bianca Barnes and this message is for Carols Manager we want you to know that we have papers we are going to serve her with. So you need to have her call us.
I called back and they tell me there is no Bianca Barnes there. But say their name is Consolidated Litigation.
It seems like a scam they are not professional they are not obeying the Fair Debt Practice laws and I have reported them to the Attorney General for my state.

They have called me left a message want you to know that we have papers we are going to serve you with. They did not identify a company name or a contact person.  They left a case number.  I think this is a scam also

I just had the same call. They left me a message saying this was my final notification. They said to call back 888-247-6345. Funny thing is my caller id says 847-586-9138 but when you call, the voicemail is full. Not sure but will notify if anyone actually comes to my work. If it is someone trying to deliver something don't you think there wouldn't be other people talking in the background like a call center. Not sure how to handle this one.

This is for sure a scam. I have been researching for a while now. This is one of those payday loan scams. My brother applied for a payday loan online a few years ago.  He never actually took one out. The company sells the info to anyone who will pay a few bucks and then starts the scam.  He, my mom, and myself have received phonecalls on and off for the last year from different numbers and people all saying the same thing. That he has a claim against him or charges against him regarding money that he owes.  They threaten jail, which unpaid payday loans is not an arrestable offense.  I just received a call from a number that asked for my mom (who doesnt live at my address) then my brother.  I told her that neither person lived here and that I didn't have forwarding info. She became rude and indignant.  I told her I knew this was a scam and that I would appreciate it if she would take me off their call list.  She then said, "Im going to keep calling you all day everyday" I told her I would report her to the police for harassment and she said "OOooo, Im so scared." Anyone that unprofessional is obviously not on the up and up. I hung up and she proceeded to call me 15 more times. When I answered she laughed and said, "How did that work for you?" Crazy.  She then called today and I just picked up and hung up a few times, then she finally left a message on the phone saying she was trying to reach a Tammy Ward (totally different person then she was looking for the day before and not someone I even know) maybe she dialed wrong, but she left a message exactly like what she said about my brother the day before. It said she was putting her on notice that there is a claim against her and it is her last chance to call and resolve this manner.  Left a claim number and the phone number 888-247-6345 to call to settle this claim. They try to scare people into sending them money to avoid jail time and unfortunately some people fall for it.  I am making it my mission to bring these jerks down.

my dad just got a call from these jerks.....saying the same thing: jail time, final notice, papers to be served....absolutely ridiculous......
