Called but I did not answer & they did not leave message. I am convinced since I signed on to the "do not call" list, that I am getting more calls than I used to.  I guess I will just have to not answer my phone any longer unless it is a familiar number.  It seems there is nothing a person can do to get away from these annoying callers

It's actually quite annoying - why do people think they have the right to bother us.  It's like people who drive reckless and put the rest of us at risk of injury.

They just called me during class and I thought it had something to do with one of my orders from the mainland. I live in Hawaii. Good thing I searched up the #.

The number of complains points to the origin of the calls are beyond the reach of the US authorities, in other countries e.g. south and Central American territories, this does not say that the owner and operators of the calling numbers are not American. The numbers showing are mostly spoofed.

Did not answer, left no message!  However, being on the do not call list is somewhat of a joke.  But when there is no one there when either trying to call back or actually attempting to answer, I've been told that often these are "robo calls" checking to see if the number is valid...then they sell the "valid numbers" to telemarketers for them to do their dirty deeds!

Either way, we're somewhat helpless except to not answer if we don't recognize....which I do routinely!
