Another fake car warranty, called from 608 305 2380

Left me a truncated voice message starting with: we both know you wanna avoid this. You can reach me at 888-256-5786 between 9am-5pm EST. Not sure what he was calling about, but it reeks scam.

Called from a masked number in my area code but the call back number was 888-256-5786. Warned me about my car warranty expiring (I have a brand new vehicle)

Says he's Jeff from "Vehicle Protection" and I'll be responsible for any repair bills and "you want to avoid that!"

Apparently it's from a guy named Jeff from Vehicle Protection (could not find a company by that name) and says my warranty is expire (hey, I have never had a warranty ever) and we both don't want that (that's vaguely menacing and real people don't do that) actually called me from +18503187122 which is not the same as the call back number which is 8882565786

Same message I got

Came up as anonymous in caller ID, had short message and voicemail about “I want to help you avoid this so call me between hours of 9am & 8 pm Eastern Standard....”

When I called back I asked who was calling my number (they didn’t identify their company when they answered), I told them that if they were selling something that I was not interested. They rudely said “how do you know that we’re selling something? You’re arrogant (something unintelligible)” and she hung up on me. I say it’s scam

Kathy  from Vehicle Services called me from 606-388-8034 saying my warranty is expired and that I am now responsibile for all repairs and services and they want to help me avoid that. Call back between 9am-8pm..... I have blocked these calls repeatedly and from soooo many different numbers yet they just use a different one each time. I have no expired warranty AND am on the Do Not Call List. They call 3-5 times a day.

Got a truncated message from a woman saying I needed to call her back at 8882565786

Robocall about my vehicle’s warranty expiring soon. They are about seventeen years too late.

warranty services, robo calls won't stop. they won't say where they are calling from. I got po'd and played along, po'd the guy on other end..if you can't beat, join them.

I got the same truncated message since I don’t answer unknown numbers. I’m sick of these [***].

This number is 100% a scam.  Block the number.  (888) 256-5786

I ignore more calls, but now I got a postcard in the mail from them to call them at this number as I have not activated my vehicle protection.  Sorry, but I activated it when I purchased it over a year ago. Note in small print it says not affiliated with Dealer or manufacturer.

Card in the mail with this number on it 1-888-256-5786 Definitely not calling it.

Haven’t gotten a call yet but got a postcard saying to call them to “activate my protection.” Fine print at the bottom says “not affiliated with dealer or manufacturer.” Definitely a scam
