I got a text message from this number.  I don't know the number and they did not state the name of the company

i received  text message with this phone number about extras in movies wanted me to send in pictures and wanted to charge my credit card $1.98. I asked how did you get my phone number, they hung up.  Always a scam going on.

i got a text message that said " MOVIE EXTRAS WANTED! You can make money in the movies. All Looks, No Experience Requried! To Register call 888-256-7845. To UNSUB reply STOP

It is a casting company calling to get extra's for either the movies or for a TV show. I'm taking a leap here, but I think the number belongs to the film studio near the Wilmington airport. Of course I guess it could be a scam to charge you a $1.98 a minute. I called and it is a phone screener. I hung up after abou7t 45 seconds of "please remain on the line. The next operator will assist you". Screw that...if you are getting billed for holding, that would be a real crappy scam...
