I received a call from someone who claimed to be from a process server company and said the plaintiff was at this number. i called and they said their name was providence and to leave my name number and case number....any idea who providence is?

I also received a call from someone saying they were going to be serving me with a summons and I needed to call back i have no clue what this was about so i called back and the person on the phone said they were filing criminal charges against me for a bad check i wrote at a payday loan company even though i put this in my bankruptcy

My daughter received a call from this company as well she was told that a summons was going to be served to her at work.  She totally got scared and offer to take care of this acct.  She gave them her bank info and agree to pay the total amount of the acct at the end of the month well they started taking money out of her acct without her authorization.  Please remember never give anybody your bank info if they need to service you a summons let them.

what did the bank draft name come across as or who the $ went to?

This phone number was listed on a post card sent saying there were unclaimed funds available and to call this number. I had a feeling something was not quite right about the postcard.

Got a post card in the mail about unclaimed funds attached to this number, they wanted to come to our house for who knows what.

Have no idea why we were called.

Called this morning and said they were calling on behalf of a mortgage company that I do not have.

I blocked the number.

My client received a call that they bought the house at the foreclosure auction which was not true. When I called back, the message said I reached the law office.(very generic)
I left my number (a different number than they called so I could monitor what would happen) So far, no return call from them.
