Caller left voicemail. Claimed to be a Michael calling from the O.S.H.A Compliance Division and left a this number as the call back number. I called back and got a recording that all the service personnel were busy and to please leave a name, number and brief message. The Recording represented themselves as Federal Publishing Company. I'm assuming as there was no director other than an answering machine message to leave a call back number that this Michael that called was misrepresnting himself as an agent that he is not in order to get people such as myself to call back for some kind of sales pitch.

Got the same call from "tara" saying she was from the OSHA compliance division for federal publishing. She asked if I was the director of the company because she was going to send us the updated compliance manual for $250 +/-. I asked if they had a website so I could research myself and she said no. OSHA does not have a website? I don't think so. She wanted my fax number and mailing information and I said no thanks. She called back again the following two days leaving messages like she had never called. Smells like a scam to me!

Received a call at work from a woman at Federal Publishing, she told our receptionist that she was calling about an invoice.  I knew this was a sales call right away, but I took the call and she said she needed to know how we handled invoices because she would be sending me Osha information with an invoice. I said "this is a sales call, isn't it" to which she replied, heatedly "NO It is not!, I need to know how your company handles invoices".  When I asked what she would be invoicing us for, she said "If you would just give me a little of your time, I'll explain" - I told her I didn't have time for this nonsense.  At this point she was yelling at me, then she slammed the phone down.  Yep, it was a sales call after all!  Phone Number: 954-989-9004.

I have had ten different voice mail massages from OSHA Compliance Federal Publishing.  They are very persistent and make it sound like they are part of our federal entity.  We need to make OSHA aware of their tactics.

I receive two messages daily from this phone number.  Also states OSHA publishing, but my calls are from "Richard Cinelly".  Of all the messages he has left (at least 8 so far) he only left the phone number on one of them.  After checking it here, I'm not too worried about calling it back.

Received a call from Margaret at Federal Publishing OSHA Compliance (I had her repeat it to me.  Sounds like she got the order of the words mixed up.).  She informed me that our school district was last registered as compliant in 2006, and that books are good for four years.  She said our Facilities Director had talked with other compliance officers (not sure if she said officers or people or what) in 2010, but budget difficulties had prevented the district from purchasing at that time.  She gave me her direct line - 954-989-9174, and the toll free number - 888-261-8006.  No one here will be calling her back!

Received at least a dozen messages from "robert" representing OSHA.  If anyone talks to him, please ask him to stop calling me with his scam.  I have been down this road at least 100 times over the course of my 29 years in the automotive business.

My caller was John Dixon.  He said I had purchased the 2007 OSHA EPA Safety Manual for Public Works and that I needed to buy the 2011 update for $278.50.  I told him I did not recall ever buying the earlier version and that i would have to check to be sure.  So, he left his phone number and told me to call him back so they could ship the update.  I have a vague memory that they tried to sell me something in the past and when I refuse, they get upset but never give me a web page or any ability to check them out.  I am sure it is a scam.

We received a call at our restaurant from these people claiming they were with OSHA.  They talked with our bartender and told him they were "confirming" our address and gave him our address, which he said was correct.  Today, we received a package Priority mail from them with a bunch of paperwork in it and an invoice for $249.50.  They did NOT ask our permission, they just "confirmed" the address.  Now we have to send their junk back and probably have to fight them that we don't owe the money.  BE CAREFUL WITH THESE PEOPLE!!!

Federal Complianc Publications is a fraud!  OSHA does have a website and if needed any company can print out their own publications for FREE.  Below is the real OSHA website.

By the way I work for a very large company with hundreds of locations, we had this "company" send very poorly printed documents to one of our locations along with an invoice, which I have a copy of.  Our businesses do not take phone orders all documents for our businesses come from our corporate office so this was not ordered.  They are trying to charge $259.50 for a fake document that did NOT come from OSHA.
The toll free phone number on the invoice is 1-888-782-7174, other number is 954-920-7338 or they have an email address as well office@fedcompubl.com
If they call you just hang up on them, they are extremely rude!

I received the package at the Post Office, and since it was quite large, and I knew I didn't order anything, I went to my Postmaster and asked about the rule of if you did not order it, you can keep it, without paying for it.  I was not going to send it back without knowing what was inside.

After opening it, I knew that I had not ordered an OSHA information package.  Our business is also small and there is no need for OSHA regulations Posters and a big book of rules and regulations!  Naturally,I went home to recycle the paper, and binders, only to get the bill a week later.

My question is now I have an attorney sending me a collections.

I received a call from "Dana" asking for the Director of Maintenance - she even had his first and last name correct. I told her he was with someone and could I tell him who was calling. She said she was calling from Federal Publishing regarding OSHA compliance. To top it off she was very rude and acted like we had done something wrong. My boss said he didn't have time to talk so I told her he wasn't available and asked if she could leave her number. She said no, imagine that.

This place is run by Steven Mishkin who did Fed time for a boiler room operation in Miami a few years ago.  I do not think the Feds would be pleased if they knew what he is doing now.  Google Steven Mishkin.  He actually got a reduced prison sentence because he wore a wire on some of his former colleagues.  This place needs to be shut down.

Got a call from these people who said they were from OSHA and going to mail us some information.  They called back about 5 minutes later to "confirm" our address.  I told them yes, we had spoken to their other representative and she was going to mail us some free stuff and we didn't authorize any charges (just in case they wanted to bill us for some reason).  She said there was a $279 charge for the stuff they told us was free.  They weren't even going to tell us that, but we got them to admit they were going to bill us.
