- noname| 1 replyHave received several calls showing unavailable on caller id. Didn't answer and a message was left to call this # with no company info or anything.
I am registered on the do not call list and filed a complaint. Hope this stops it! - AnonI've been called many times at odd hours through out the day. I ignore the number, nothing shows up on caller ID, a message is left to call this number. The person on the message states they are Taylor Johnson and work for Time Wanner Cable costumer care with hours of operation 9- 8:30pm Monday through Friday and 9- 5:30pm on Saturday. Calling the number only results in a busy tone.
- shereeNo info, just a message to return the call? Is this a collection agency?
- Caller: don't know
- noonehereits time warner cable
- Caller: Time Warner
- James| 1 replyThis is Time Warner Cable, they call from this number when your payment is late or has not been received. They also have the ability to give you an extension on your bill if needed.
- unknown| 1 replyGot a call from 888-865-1756, called back and said it was disconnected. Time Warner, SHAME ON YOU
- Call type: Debt collector
- Unknown #2Received call on my cell which is not registered with TW. I called back and they answered, "Time Warner Collection Department." They asked for my account information, but then claimed they couldn't find my address, my name or my phone numbers and then asked for my SSAN. No way I was going to give them that! I then called TW Corporate Office in NY NY (212.364.8200) who took some info and said they would check on it.
- Caller: Time Warner Collection Department
- rbw replies to unknown265...not 865
- Anthony replies to JamesI'm on auto-deduct and just got this call...so i have no late bill and they must think I do?
- Phil| 1 reply888-265-1756 is just Time Warner hounding people for money again.
I just paid them $100 last week and payday is only once a month and they know that.
Hit the 'ignore' icon and ignore the message, just delete it.
By the way, their TV commercials say HDTV is free, well its not free, you still have to pay an extra $10+ a month for their stupid box.
We should all file a complaint with the Federal Trade Commission over false advertising!- Caller: Time Warner

- SouthWestOhioHere is a chat transcript from TWC about this number:
Rick Hatley: I understand, you received a phone call regarding account updates, is that correct?
William_: something to that affect yest
William_: errr yes
Rick Hatley: May I know what did they say?
William_: This is time warner cable, please contact us at 866-533-0947 about a change in your account status by july 31st and then proceeded to say please have William _ call and verify this phone number when you call
William_: we have paid everymonth, but not only that since my move i cannot access my services i assume its because the account number changed when i moved.
Rick Hatley: Please allow me a moment.
William_: ok.
Rick Hatley: I see that is not the phone number to make changes to account. I have made notes on your account regarding this call and would request you to contact 800-677-9767 and report this issue.
William_: so that number is not a time warner number? and there are no changes on my account now?
Rick Hatley: That is not a Time Warner Cable phone number- Caller: Time Warner
- TWC replies to Phil$10? You're lucky, we had to pay an extra $20 per HDTV cable box over here.
- RabidwaffleI got a cal from this number, I called it back and I got the Time Warner Collection Department. Seeing how I have 5 or 6 companies that are TOTALLY fictitious and trying to get my account and personal info, I said nothing to them!
Then today being Monday, I called the number I know: 877-772-2253, I talked to some one in the billing department. His name was Joe. I talked to Joe and I told him the # that called me. He is and I quote:
"Sir, that is not one of our #'s! I assure you of that! When did they call you?"
I replied: "Saturday at 3:04pm."
"Sir, I show all of our contacts with you. You have not called us in over 2 months, and we have not called you for any reason since April!"
That being said, I will be taking action against this company as well as all the rest! If those thieving [***] are reading this? Talk to you REALLY soon!- Caller: Time Warner??

- anonThat number IS from TWC--I don't understand why people are saying it isn't. They call me once a month toward the end of the month if I haven't paid the bill yet by then. It's legit and it's TWC, for sure. I've pressed the button to talk to a representative and it always goes through and they are def legit.
The Taylor Johnson autobot also calls me sometimes too--in fact 'she' called me every month when I was late before this new 888 number took over and started calling me at the same times 'she' used to.- Caller: Time Warner Cable
- Call type: Debt collector
- SteveIt's true that it is, in fact, Time Warner Cable. This is the autobot that will call if you are a few days late on your bill. TWC bills do not have a due date, they are due upon receipt, so if it has merely been a week or two since you've gotten the bill and have not yet made a payment, you will get the phone call. If you've just recently paid the bill or plan to do so soon, then just ignore the call. Despite the "changes in your account" message, no changes have been made, outside the fact that you've most likely accrued a late fee.

- PaulPlease do not call me again. I'm not interested in what you are selling!

- CbusI am incessantly receiving unsolicited, automated phone calls during all hours of the day and night that claim to be Time Warner Cable. The number is: 888-265-1756. At first, I thought it was an extremely elaborate and well-orchestrated case of someone committing or attempting to commit deceptive fraud by telecommunications phishing.
But, I chatted with an unwitting Time Warner service rep online, “Percy,” who claims the number 888-265-1756 is not Time Warner’s and to “just ignore it.” However, I did call it back and, it is in fact the Time Warner Collections Department harassing you to pay your bill, even if it is completely current! The calls are a deceptive, misleading, and disingenuous scheme of harassment by Time Warner to browbeat customers into paying their bills as soon as they receive them. This type of dishonest and devious practice should be reported (and is) to the appropriate authorities, such as the State Attorney General’s Consumer Affairs Protection Division and the FTC.- Caller: Time Warner Cable

- BillI called my local Time Warner office and they have no association with this number and there were no issues with my account. When I told the people who called me from this number they hung up on me. Beware, this appears to be a scam. i have reported them to the Fair Trade Commision.
