- B1lzNumber belongs to Chase. It is the reconsideration department that handles credit card applications. If you are turned down you may speak to them to see if a card can be issued. Usually has to do with an individual having too many cards with them.
- B| 2 repliesI keep receiving letters from Chase Bank with this number on it. It’s a credit application that I never applied for on the letter it says that I was denied for the Visa Signature account through AMAZON.COM. I realized that whoever kept using my info to try and get this card made my credit score drop. I was able to put a freeze on my credit scores so they wouldn’t drop anymore. I’m trying to figure out what I can do about this because I still receive these letters for this card I’m not even applying for. My credit doesn’t drop because my permission has to be given first. But the letters have the same Wilmington, DE address, with different P.O. Box numbers

- Pudge replies to BB, don't rely on my advice but let me tell you that I had a similar thing occur with a capital one card. I received a letter from them telling me that my card was denied. I never applied for a card. I called capital one and told them that this was a fraud attempt. They put that in my records. I followed up the phone call with a notarized letter stating that I wanted no advertising or pre-approved letters to my mail. It all stopped. Perhaps contacting VISA will help. Good luck.
- BigA replies to BI am not sure why we are discussing letters in a phone call website. It appears that Chase issues that branded card. You should be contacting Chase bank at a known, published number. You should be following that conversation up with a letter sent certified, return receipt. You should be filing disputes with all the major credit bureaus.
