Received call from this number claiming social security admin. Claiming chargesagainst my number and I needed to call before I go to jail. Ok bye.

I have been getting this call for about a week and this time i actually called it back just now for some stupid reason.  They said they were the SSA and that my social security number was being suspended as of today due to fraudulent activity associated with my number.  He asked me to give my full SSN, I did not of course, and then proceeded to give me a case reference number, his employee ID number, his name (Mark David...) and then my ARREST ID!  He asked me if I had ever been in Texas and then said that my blood was located in Texas and was associated with some sort of homicide.  Then I laughed at him and hung up.  They really went all out on this one!!!!

They left an automated voice message saying my SSN was fraudulently used and to call them back or I would be going to jail. Didn't call back, Please make these stupid scammers stop!

Scammers have been getting calls 1 week......

The dreaded SSA scam - see comments above. How sad that some confused elderly folk actually fall for this--real criminals behind this one. Intellius didn't have any info on this # in their database, but Truecaller did, fyi.

I received the same message

I have had 5+ calls from this number in the last week. They don't actually say that they are from the social security admin.  They say "our department" trying to make people think that they are. They also say that my ssn is having legal action brought against it and I'll be going to jail.  THIS NEEDS TO STOP!!!!!

they left a msg stating that their "department" wants to inform me that there's a legal enforcement action filed on my SSN for fraudulent activity so i need to call them back before the matter goes to courthouse... SCAM ALERT!
