- DD20131st call came in w/local number for my area had a name of Misty *****. So I answered, then a woman with a foreign accent was on the line. She had my last name, zipcode and cell number. However, wanted me to confirm my first name, which I did not give. She kept calling me Mrs. So and So. Then, again wanted me to confirm my husband whom is a diabetic, how he spells his name. She's with the Ins. company and he gets a free BS Monitor. I replied, how do you have it spelled on his paperwork. She replied, he submitted a request via internet request. I replied again, how do you have it on file as being spelled. She couldn't give me an answer. I hung up.... Then, 5pm, I get another call from the # 888-279-2148 saying the same thing...Confirm my info, blah, blah, blah...I advised them to call back later. He hung up. Reason being I wanted to speak w/Hubby post work to see if he had inquired online. Nope! So, next morning, 9:15am Ring Ring,...I didn't answer. Let it stop ringing...Blocked it then went back and blocked the name of Misty!.. Thank goodness for those of you leaving a review about this number!!

- Not Falling For This Scam!| 3 repliesI keep getting calls from this number even after I blocked it. The one time I accidentally answered some Asian sounding guy says something about a diabetes test and equipment. I don’t even have diabetes!? I also got a voicemail about equipment that was approved by my insurance! This is after I blocked the number. Apparently they are able to get through. 🤬
- Caller: Company Unknown (probably a scammer)
- BigA replies to Not Falling For This Scam!| 2 repliesBlocking conveys no message and does not prevent them from making phone calls. I'm surprised that you would think otherwise.
- Not Falling For This Scam| 1 replyI want to add to my previous post, these calls didn’t start coming in until after I had bloodwork sent to LabCorp. A diabetes test was performed after had I requested it (which turned out to be negative). I think somehow the scammer is getting personal info from LabCorp.
- Caller: Scammer claiming to be a medical equipment supplier
- Call type: Scam suspicion
- BigA replies to Not Falling For This ScamThen where did they get the information from when they call all the other people who never went to a lab to get a diabetes test?
