- TxMan| 1 replyThis number calls twice, exactly two minutes apart, at four different times a day. It is blocked so we only hear the one ring, but it is quite annoying. Cannot find out who this belongs too.

CALL THE NUMBER ON YOUR BANK STATEMENT - Dave SACalled 4 times today. No messages left. I had visited a SSFCU bank today so afther this fourth call I called the number. A man answered after the "may be recorded" disclaimer, which sounded fishy as it was. I asked him why they weren't leaving me vm messages. He said if they call in the morning they don''t leave a message. Red flag! I said they call in the afternoon too. He talked over me asking me for my SS or account number. I said why do you need my SS? Then he switched gears and asked for my name. I gave him a surname and he asked if it was first or last name. I hung up. This number is definitely a SCAM! Follow Slim's advice above!
- Caller: Scammer (claiming SSFCU)
- FerretLadyCalled the number which automatically sent me to a menu to pay my "loan" via credit card or another account (!!). I have had a with SSFCU loan paid off and closed over a year ago. I decided to speak to a representative who can't locate me via phone number or my name. She asked me for my SS#. Totally a scam. So I think SSCFU got hacked or had a security leak. Beware!

- MikeI don't always have the money to pay right away, but I do pay my bills. This call came from Security Service Finance Credit Union because I'm 5 days late on my payment, but the calls started on the first day. I don't plan to pay them for another 6 days, so, unfortunately, I'll have to bear them until it's paid.
