- MFL| 2 repliesRoku scammers. Directed to a fake website with this number to call. They wanted credit card info because Roku changed their plans and is no longer free. Sounds like an Indian call center with the back ground noise.

- GW replies to MFL| 1 replyHappened to me too. Somehow they were able to lock us out of our Roku account, changed the email associated with it & removed all our apps. We had to reset the Roku, make new account & download all the apps & sign in again. We were beyond furious!

- J. I. CaseUsing my Roku stick I went to watch the USA network and a popup came up with an activation code and the web address to go to. I typed in the address and a list of sites came up and I inadvertently hit the scammer’s site. I entered the code and then it said to call 888-279-4408 to finish the setup. They asked for my email and stick ID#. From that they got into the stick and set it to Guest Mode and it asked for a code. Then he said Roku is no longer free and gave me a list of features and prices. I told him if I must pay forget it. He said ok and if you want to reset the stick call 332-699-4804. An internet search of the numbers showed it was a scam. Had to do a hard reset of the stick and start all over again!!
