I thought there was a law against these early morning calls.

There IS a law against third party collection agencies calling before 8AM and after 9 PM local time, and you need to report them to the FTC:

§ 805.  Communication in connection with debt collection   [15 USC 1692c]

(a) COMMUNICATION WITH THE CONSUMER GENERALLY.  Without the prior consent of the consumer given directly to the debt collector or the express permission of a court of competent jurisdiction, a debt collector may not communicate with a consumer in connection with the collection of any debt --

at any unusual time or place or a time or place known or which should be known to be inconvenient to the consumer. In the absence of knowledge of circumstances to the contrary, a debt collector shall assume that the convenient time for communicating with a consumer is after 8 o'clock antimeridian and before 9 o'clock postmeridian, local time at the consumer's location...

This is an illegal agency, if they call you for a debt fraud, report them to to Equifax. They are reaping people off illegally.

i have a TON of random calls like this from various numbers. getting annoying.. this American Agencies number called me several times this month. I think it may have to do with the fact that my now ex boyfriend wrote me down as a reference (without my permission, just for the record) when he went to get a cash advance at checksmart. now they keep calling me and telling me to have him call them about his debt or whatever, which i have nothing to do with, so it's super annoying.

i also get a lot of calls, not from this number, but lots of other people looking for a girl named Christina N. Warren. and i am NOT her..
