They call 8 times back to back, no message at all

I answered..recorded voice said it was the "cell phone company" calling about non-use of my cell phone and I must use my phone every 30 days to keep it active...then the recording put me on hold for an "agent"

Clearly a scam...I'm on my phone every 30 seconds.......

The recording is telling me in order to keep my phone service I must make a call every 30 days. What the hell I live on my phone.

There's no point in leaving a message since none of these links can reverse look-up the number and identify the caller so a complaint can be made.

Some of these numbers call tens of thousands of numbers to eliminate answering services/machines, voice mail and fax machines so they can create lists to sell to merchants.

They don't have recorders or anyone to talk so that they can by-pass Do Not Call lists without being reported.

I called them back when I woke up. it played elevator music for 3 minutes.

CALLED IT BACK AFTER THEY CALLED TWICE AROUND 6AM. MAN THAT ANSWERED SOUNDED INDIAN AND SAID I MUST USE MY PHONE WITHIN 30 DAYS.

whats up, this is a scam or something

I got a text message saying I needed to use my phone once a month to keep my service from being interrupted I use it everyday. I call to see what was going on and all I got was elevator music. I hung up and got 7 more text messages. I have to pay for all incoming and outgoing messages so this is costing me. How do we get them to stop?

Suggest you contact your phone service provider and report/file a complaint the text messages to them. This might be a way to try and cram your phone bills... Keep a eye on your bills for fraud charges.  Some of these calls if you call them back are charged big $$..

they did sound like india speaking people.

i receive numerous voice mails all hours of the day and night, and yes, it is driving me crazy!!! i called today and got through and to find out that they are my cell phone provider. i demanded my phone number to be changed and for them to not provide my number to solicitors and that what they are doing is harassment!!! if after i get my number changed and they continue, i will definitely press phone harassment charges!!!! and yes they are some type of foreigners that you cannot even understand or pronounce their name!!!
