They called a number I don’t used anymore and left a message saying someone filed a complaint against me I need to hurry up and call back in 47 hours

At hour 48 the complaint turns into a pumpkin and the lawyers turn back into rats, their native form.

Was this (risibly) during Labor Day weekend?

Yeah, that would'a popped his fuse. You're not getting paper mail from them, they don't want any from you, collection laws be damned.  No complaint reaching them would cause any damage unless it's bundled with a Summons, another item that extortionist collectors have no plan to send.

The message was confusing and did not get to the point of the call. Possibly scam related.
