Got a popup warning me about a worm on my computer, purporting to be from Microsoft and telling me to call this number.  Fortunately, it was much easier to get rid of the popup than it had been for a prior scam.  I can find no information by googling this number, so I'm just assuming that it is a scam.  (I have all kinds of virus and other protection on my computer, so any warning that does not come through them is most likely a scam.)

Got the same type of warning (with an irritating beep) about a virus or trojan, claiming to be Microsoft.  Using Edge browser, and it popped up again after computer shut-down.  Switched to another browser, then tried Edge again several hours later.  Cleared up problem, however erased history anyway.  Ran malware and virus scans.
