I answered the call but had no response from the caller. After several seconds the phone was disconnected from their end.

When I answered there was no response and was disconnected after a few seconds.  This was the 2nd call within the hour.  THe first time they asked for someone that did not reside at my home.  Ignore and hang up next time.

I got a call from that number as well at 1:44 p.m. today. I'm in Ottawa, with an unlisted and blocked phone number. I've been receiving these "funny" phone calls since i switched to Rogers homephone and wonder if that doesn't have anything to do.  Mind you, Bell Canada is equally capable of sharing the phone numbers of their past customers - if only out of spite for having lost the monopoly game.

5:07 PM Vancouver...I answered...no response and was disconnected after a few seconds.  Called the caller id number and got some security companies answering machine.
