I received a call from a Ms. Vonverhaar, 888-284-7047 - wouldnt leave any type of detailed "message".... does anyone know who this number belongs to?  I dont have any acct with Bloomingdales or similar...???

I just got a call from them too, regarding an important business matter.

Received a call from Mrs. Vonverhaar claiming she's from Bloomingdale's. Gave this 1-888-284-7047 number. Would not give any details. When I called them back they said they were asking about a Macy's account. When I didn't have an account number, they asked for my SS# number. Phone number on caller ID was 1-513-573-8739.

This is a scam. I got a call from India asking for my wife. I called the number back and the first thing they asked for is my social security number. When I told them I did not have it they said to call back when I did. I said I did not have a Bloomingdales account and said they would need my social security # to confirm.

Received this message to call Mrs. Weatherford regarding a Macy's account. I do not have an account with Macy and was not happy about getting called at my place of employment.

Mr. Nolton has been calling my job for over 6 months asking for my boss. They keep saying it's a "personal business matter" but they won't state the company (because I'm not the person they are asking for) and they don't identify their first name. The only want to strictly talk to my boss and they won't leave a message on their voicemails or just call. I've heard about the Bloomingdales account but they won't discuss it. It's annoying too when I tell them my boss is not available and they will just hang up on you right away.

Asked for my boss by name.
There was a lot of noise in the background. Didn't sound like the normal office clatter.
When I said she wasn't in, leave a message?

called saying they had personal business.  the call comes from Mason Ohio.  I will write down the number when it appears on caller id again.  thanks to the posts i didn't return the call. the caller said he was brad townholder

They keep calling leaving the same exact number but as different people. I went here to check and i will not be returning the call.

Someone named Ms. Curry tried to reach me and asked me to call 888.284.7047 regarding personal business.

Received a call about "personal business matter.'  The ID was Ladue, MO, and a (314) number but they told me to call 888-274-7074.  Thanks to the messages here, I will not be calling them!

They called me on my cell phone asking for my sister.  They wouldn't state the company that they werre calling from and asked to be called back on 1-888-284-7047.  The call came from 513-573-8031.  I will not call them back but I will check to see that my sister's Macy/Bloomingdale/American Express is in order, via different methods!

I just got a call @ 8 am on a Saturday morning asking for my wife.  The woman (Tina Ellison) said that it was a personal matter that could only be discussed with my wife.  She said to have her call back (888) 284-8031 but the caller Id came from (513) 573-8031.  Based on what I've read here, we will NOT be calling back.  Thanks for the info.

They (513) 573-8031keep calling my office saying they're with FDS Bank with Bloomingdales. I already told my boss they called and she said she wasn't interested she didn't know who they were. They keep calling even though I tell them she's not interested and does not want to speak to them. They leave the contact number of (888) 284-7047. Annoying.

Received a call on our business line for an employee from Jason Straus.  He didn't name a company.  The employee was out for the day at a funeral. I am glad I thought to check the phone number before relaying this call!!

Just got a message from a "Mr.Oak" asking for my ex husband. They said it was an urgent business matter regarding a Bloomingdales account. They would not disclose any information, for the call was not for me, but for my ex husband.
THIS IS A SCAM! DO NOT GIVE MR/MRS WHOEVER ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION. I thought something was up, then I called back and the first thing they wanted was a SSN#. Obviously, I hung up right away. CAREFUL!
