This number showed up as the number to call because my computer had notified Microsoft of a virus on my computer and my computer had been locked. I was unable to click on anything that would open on my computer. I made a note of the telephone number to call which is the number identified. I ran a virus scan on my computer and my Norton 360 protection did not find any viruses. I was finally able to close out the red blocks and the audio message that kept popping up on my computer. When I rebooted my computer the flashing red block with the computer lock message no longer played and I was able to use my computer as usual. Figured this was a scam. If the computer could tell Microsoft about a virus why couldn't Microsoft remove it since the claim was that it was affecting Microsoft's operations. Appears to be a scam.
