This is a scam to get your personal information.  Received automated call stating they were regions bank and had questions regarding a recent transaction.  Voice first asks for your zip code then date of birth then social security etc.  Everything to steal your identity.  I contacted Regions bank and they stated they would never request personal information (of courst)

Since acquiring my new phone number, I've been getting automated calls from this number looking for a specific person who is apparently a dead-beat. Has been going on about 6 weeks.  The recording claims to be Regions Bank.  It says to press 1 if you are this person, blah blah blah, or press 3 if they have reached a wrong number.  I press 3, it says, "sorry for the inconvenience" and hangs up.  However, I've continued getting calls for 6 weeks now.  So today I called the number, it had an automated answer, and I had to press 1 for account service but then had to press "0" repeatedly before finally getting a human (because I don't really have an account with them so I couldn't enter my account number and certainly wasn't going to enter my entire social security number as requested).  Upon speaking with the human, I was asked for the spelling of the name of the person they're looking for.  What?!  How the he** should I know because I'm not that person and they called me!  Then she was supposedly transferring me to a collections rep to block my number from future calls, but then I was disconnected after a few rings.  Called again, got a somewhat unhelpful woman who eventually said she'd process the phone number block request but it could take 30 days! Called the local Regions Bank in town here (Rolla, MO) and got a nice lady who seemed very sincere and helpful and said she'd get it handled more promptly.  Her response to the name I told her they were trying to call seemed to ring a bell with her. I have had other collection calls for a person of the same last name since acquiring my phone number last month, so I think this is legitimately "Regions Bank" making collection calls, but the ladies at the 888 phone number were pretty indifferent. I hope they get my number blocked as promised.

I got a call recently from this number. I don't believe in giving out personal information over the phone but since they claimed to be Regions I went ahead and did it. The computer said I owed about $100 to my bank. Understandable because my hours recently got cut and I had to move back in with my mom because I can't afford rent. But I'm only 19. If it was a scam they got all my important information because I'm a stupid college student trying to make it on my own, but I can't because of the recession!
Since then I've had repeated calls from 205-560-8186. But I haven't answered it.

I have been getting calls for the past two days from this number and it goes just like what Not Regions Bank said above. SCAM SCAM SCAM
