This is a scam. They call pretending to be Google verifying your listing, and try to get you to make a one time payment for verification, which the real Google does not require.

They called me this evening around 6 and asked me to verify my business listing. So, i called them back five minutes ago and requested a refund.  The person who I talked to was a woman, with the name Christine.

I have been contacting these people to give me my money back. Giving me the run-a-round.

THIS IS A SCAM.  Sophisticated process using a 888-244-8898 on a factitious invoice.  Wanted a credit card or electronic check for one-time google website SEO posting.  Phone call came from caller ID 223-444-4861 (Lancaster, PA) initially with no Google Caller ID.  During the call, I found this site showing scam and hung up.  Then I received a return call from 314-582-7720 (St. Louis, MO) with no caller ID saying we were disconnected.  I called him out on the scam and hung up.
